2018-19 Russian Ladies' figure skating

Polina Tsurskaya.
SP music: "And the Waltz Goes on" by Anthony Hopkins
FP music: "Leningrad" by William Joseph; "Prodigy" by Kotaro Nakagawa; "Live Or Die" by X-RayDog.

so happy to finally have news on her programs! I hope she kills it this season now that she's seemingly in a better place for herself. She's gonna be at test skates this 9th right?

She will be very smooth on waltz.
I'm curious how the songs for FS will be cutted and joined in something spectacular.:love::love::love::love::love:

i remembered one thing: if Trusova wins(or Sinitsina) that would be 14th JGP in a row with a russian lady on top! there never was anything like that before

Among non top girls at Moscow Championship I like Ksenia Mikryukova. I think outside combo and flip all other elements were well executed and the program itself is very pleasant.

Wow! I'm excited that Tarusina gets a second spot after all! I guess then at JGP 7 it will be Sinitsyna and Kanysheva

Lets praise Kamila Valieva with outstanding brilliant unbelievable performance at Moscow Championship! 75.81! (I hope such achievement could be discussed outside tournament thread).

I think at the 7th JGP stage there shoild be the strongest non Eteri skaters to give Nana a good run for a buck. This makes Tarakanova with 1 spot and Vasilyeva with 1 spot a mistery. If Nastya goes strong with more than 191 I would give her the second chance in Erevan while putting the weaker of Sinitsina or Kanysheva with Kostornaya. the weaker in terms of score. Then Nana would likely not be better than 2 and 3. Not enough for the final. Of course, if Tarakanova is not in the good shape the tactics will be different. What about Kamilla Valieva? If she shines in FP as well does she have a chanve for JGP spots instead of either Tarakanova or Vasilyeva or Sinitsina?

Kamila is too young. She is still only 12.

Really looks like an Adelina program and dress

She looked so uncharacteristicly tired at the end but not a bad skate at all and I love Take5. With her conditioning I’m not sure what to expect in the FS. Looks like those boot rumors were true and she’s missed some training time. . In addition to the tiredness I can’t recall seeing her skate in skates that looked so white.

They’ve definitely reinvented her style in the SP. I wonder if it’s going to be the case in the FS too?

It’s really nice seeing her again though :hap85:
