Man...I loved both costumes. Very unique and fit the programs perfectly,

I like the FS costume a bunch... But really? The SP costume? No accounting for taste, but man do some some people have weird taste if you ask me.

But then of course, I would have put her in a more movie-faithful, straight up bright yellow jumpsuit, maybe a catsuit for aerodynamics’ sake, and then people would say their eyes were bleeding.

Whoa, Trusova's programs are a breath of fresh air and actually good. I'm pleasantly surprised, esp after the hot messes that Daniil choreographed for Zagitova and Kostornaia.

I admire Trusova's attack in her free program but the miming and breaking glass at the beginning is tacky choreography from Danill. Also there is not much room in the choreography for interpretation, once again one element to another like his FS for Anna. I like Trusova's SP better.

I felt the other way around, wanted much more from the SP. But I love Kill Bill so my bar is high.

I think the first third and last third does tailor well to her style of skating. However, her skating has little relation to the music in the middle third. It is mainly used as a backdrop to complete her two combos and the singer adds nothing to that part, imo. The ending step sequence is stylish and does allow her to show decent musicality.

Personally, I hope Russia doesn't sweet the ladies JGP because that could lead towards anti-Russian judging bias for the Grand Prix... I wish they just instituted a rule where if one country gets all 6 spots that they give a 7th spot to the next best skater from another country. I'd have the lowest ranked/scoring skater skate last.

Also, I am very much mad about marking her clean 4Lz as UR.. grrr They just stoled her achievement and presented it to Scherbakova again. Not that I wouldn't be glad for her too if she lands clean 4Lz "first" - but I despise unfairness. And from that moment that first 4Lz will became first with asterisk sign for me.. Maybe it will be better for Anna to not jump 4Lz next week again to avoid such disputes among fans and "edit wars" in wiki pages about who really was first :gaah:
