Me too today I received a WARNING from sports.ru and was banned for 3 days because I send to the a...s one Alinka hater

I want to sign up there just so I can get banned.
My defense will be "Google Translate messed up again. The word I meant to use was FUDGE"

I really thought that with some of the scoring changes to a QUALITY vs QUANTITY mentality that they would change this.

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case at all.

I am sure that Alina will master all this "stuff" as the season progresses, but I am saddened that we most likely won't get to see the "Real Alina" skating until she does another ice show. Too bad.

I had high hopes of that, then I saw the Juniors....and the scores they got. The only ones not super busy where the ones that needed time to skate around and set up harder jumps. Seeing the scoring there made me realize that, as Corinne Bailey Rae would say, the more things seem to change the more they stay the same.

Still have to see it at play in Seniors but I'm not super hopeful, even the falls on harder stuff are still worth it at this point. So far the only thing that really is gone is the back loading bonus, and we already have plenty of signals that we'll see the last jumping pass be a combo from many girls. Systems are there to be worked and work them they all will. I don't fault this but I regret a bit how it creates a blueprint that we then need to watch being performed by different people on the same event.

EX are still a fun fest, I so want to see Alina's new one....

I'm sure you are all super excited to start the new season. We hope you will enjoy this season and wish Alina the best.

As this is the fan fest of ALINA ZAGITOVA please do not discuss other skaters here. Also, unless Alina or another skater say that they don't like each other it is gossip and gossip is not allowed.

Fan Fests should be places of positivity and happiness where you can talk about your favourites without having to justify or debate people unlike in The Edge. Everyone needs to work together to keep the Fan Fests positive and talking about interpersonal drama is not conducive to that.

Posts have been removed if they were gossipy or mainly about a skater other than Alina or quoted a post that was removed.

Please remember to report rather than respond.

I’m so excited for the start of the Senior CS competitions, so Lombardia will be first overlapped with US Classic then Ondrej Nepela and our Alina.
We will see the new GOEs taken for a spin for the first time a little before we first see them at work on Alina’s performances.
I don’t expect a complete overhaul in results but I’m curious to see how often (and on what) will +5 be used.
Our brand new GS Season Passes will be put to good use on the Competition Board while they are going on.
Excited for it.

Where the hell are Alinas security team and bodyguards? Shouldn't she have a driver take her around Moscow or wherever she is? It kind of makes you go hmmm.
