Tara had typical 15 reaction :D :D (I'm 23, but I trained for a few yars girls in the age 13-17 (just to be clear - not figure skating) ..I can say it's sometime pretty hard :D and in case you are just a few years older only more ..

Both reactions are nice :) And I think for Alina will be now a little bit easier to celebrate when she dont share the coaches with Evgenia, so maybe we will see her celebration a little bit bigger ..

I love K&C when skaters are just happy. Some of them won, some of them just broke their PB or jump 3A (man) in the competition for the frst time, ... It's so nice:) My most favorite K&C moment is Virtue & Moir after Mouline Rouge. :D That's iconic as well as their skate! For me it was only one skate from all who beats Alina's Don Quijote. And Alina is pretty clever girl to look up to them. (I read somewhere)

Potato quality video but she looks great! Everything looked clean, and quite daring that she’s putting the 3lz-3toe at the beginning and 3lz-3loop in the second half. Maybe she’s so used to backloading it that it’s just more comfortable there? I have to say I’m really liking this Carmen when all the jumps are working. They’re choreographed on the music and this could really end up being a great vehicle for her.
 
Alina looks great on those training videos, fit, synchronized with the music, her jumps looks clean and for me the layout of both programs is very beautiful. Alina, I wish you all the best for those two days.
 
Love all the new footage. Alina looks strong and in control. The dress is nice and suits her and the programme.
 
She looks great with tights in boots. I hope she will keep them like that for the competition.
 
I LOOOOVE the poto dress so much! and her 3lz-3lo looks so solid. I hope she skates clean or at least with minor mistakes. With the Carmen practice you can see how much it has improved. I like it so far. I think it's gonna be a good program.
I'll be going back to my chinese classes but i'll be back to stream the last group. I'll be nervous as hell during classes :sad4:
 
She look so good :) And It's only me or she really look more flexible? She always was its seems to me like she improve it again :)

And if she let her tights in boots for competition too, she will make a lot of people happy. For me I dont care about it, but in one time I read everywhere on twitter and instagram that covered/half covered skates are good just for juniors and not for OGM, everybody was screaming that Zhenya used it only in her first senior year too so Alina must stop to do it etc. :D :D But at the and yes, I must admit she look more mature with thights like that :) Anyway, whatever she choose, she will look amazing :)
 
Watching all the clips and my question is...

WHY IS SHE ON FIRE?

The second half of her long is absolutely fierce.

I’ve never seen Alina more beautiful, more fit and sharper. No matter how she does in Germany (I think she will handly win) the season looks bright for her. Go my girl!!

About the long program footage, it looks like she goes for a 3lz3lo but then turns it into a 3lz3t due to the landing (we know it cause she didn’t raise her arms). I wonder going for the 3lz3t as the first combo would actually be better. The success rate of this combo was like 100% last year, and it will help her get the program going easier than the difficult loop combo. I hope they consider it.
 
So here I am, back from work one hour earlier, to be ready for Alinka's performance. :cheer:

Thank you atsumiri for the pictures and videos that you posted, I have to say I really love her POTO dress, it's white, but not completely white, so the addition of blue will help to make it more visible on the ice. I think it's going to look fabulous, but I will wait for the actual performance to express my final thoughts.

Caballe you are so right. Alinka is really on fire during her Carmen performance :cheer: A gorgeous clean skate, and the program really looks different when it's flawless. Her jumps look very good, I was worried for possible UR and things like that but in these videos she jumps strong, high and without any doubts, there are not UR there. Alinka is on a great physical shape, she has it all, so if she'll be able to control her nerves she'll be fine this entire season.

Come on Alinka, we are all cheering for you today :clapper:
