Totally forgot Kamila is with Eteri too. The way she controls her body is amazing. She could be professional dancer if she is not skating.
Or Rhythmic gymanstics. She has beautiful extension and flexibility.
she actually moves like she had some rhythmic gymnastics training (not your usual FS stuff, but actual gymnastics).

did you see her at test skate? she went clean in her FS, she did make mistake in SP. i think she might have a bad day? we have seen she is capable of what she usually does last season, perform clean. It's different with Sotkosva/Tsurskaya who have yet to perform clean. Tsurskaya did land nice 3Lz-3T in test skate but in CS she got many < and << and pop a lot.

Is Kamila the one on the left? She's amazing, what strength and control, and so well timed with the music.
Slo-mo of her Kaunas FP shows she landed exactly on her LEFT shoulder and right palm.
Everytime i see these videos i think she could have been successful in ice dance or in the future as a choreographer. Still hoping she can find her way, she's soo talented, she kept all her spins and she has better skating skills and more musicality than most of the other ladies.

yes I saw it and that is why I am so shocked. she is totally out of form and slow as if she is another skater. maybe she is injujred

I think it is just an asymmetrically patterned t-shirt with some white stripes on the right sleeve. It wouldn't make sense to have a shoulder wrapped the way that the pattern looks on her sleeve, especially over the shirt.

is there any reason why Eteri skaters do 2T-2T combo except Alina and Anna S? its not much point lost but still i just find it weird, they do -3Lo combo so -2Lo should be easy
Well, lets see her current students and folks that recently left, and what 3 jumps combos they do.
Zagitova does it, a 3F+2T+2Lo
Tursynbaeva does a 2A+2T+2T, butshe was not doing a +2Lo under Orser either. I suppose that that is what she currently can do, simply put.
Trusova does not need a +2Lo, as her current layout has a 4T+3T, 3Lz+3Lo and 3Lz+1Eu+3S ^^
Kostornaya does 3Lz+2T+2T
Shcherbakova does 3F+2T+2Lo
Zhenya did 2A+2T+2T
Tsurskaya did 2A+3T+2T
Tarakanova did 3Lz+1Lo+3S
Panenkova did 3F+1Lo+2S
Lets see, out of the ladies who do a -2T, what other combos they have in their programs?
Tursynbaeva does not do a -3Lo combo. Her other 2 combos are 3S+3T.

I think there is some correlation here, right? My guess is that some Eteri skaters do 2T-2T because their -3Lo or -2Lo combos are not stable enough to be included in programs, so it is not worth it, as a consistent -2T with high GOE is worth more than a -2Lo with UR and low GOE.
My guess is that they determined that the GOE would be higher for their -2T combinations outweighing the small BV advantage of a -2Lo combination. It can sometimes be hard to get a good flow out of a 2Lo combination since it has a tendency to go striaght up and down instead of in an arc especcialy if the speed in is poor (as it tends to be at the end of a 3jump combination). Whereas you can increase the speed with a 2T giving it better flow out of the combination

I tend to agree with this. For example, Alina has a relatively good flow out of last 2Lo, this is more evident when the camera angle is vertical to her combination jump trajectory. Sometimes it feels not done with ease but almost always she manages to make a smooth gliding exit out of it. Probably the other girls don't have such a good flow out of loops.

Next year is going to be so great, even better than this year, 3A in seniors and Valieva/Usacheva rivalry in juniors :luv17:
