Not the same commentators as last year. The man might be one of the same (not sure) but he is paired with a woman.

Commentary is OK except they overplay the mistake by wondering if it is related to Worlds.
Surprised there - because I would liken that kind of sensationalism to what NBC might do.

Also gave the impression she never made mistakes before Worlds.

This is why I am not sure about the man is the same from last year. The 2 guys covered all her GP competitions and certainly would have known about her SP problems at China and France. Also, didn't she have a step-out both SP and LP at the Grand Prix Final?

I guess the sensationalism makes for better copy.

Ed, try to keep up. Madison is a girl. I am a girl. I don't think either of us is gay but since same sex marriage is now legal that hardly matters (as long as she is obscenely wealthy). Ballerina will be wearing a red tutu and acting as flower girl at the ceremony. Fluture will be playing POTO. You will be officiating. Flanker is on clean up duty as he is to blame for all this.

Alina is at this very moment deleting GS from her favorites.

PS. I think Lesnar is getting us a condominium on Mars as wedding gift?

Omg, I‘m seriously laughing so hard right now. That‘s one of the reasons I love this fanfest so much. We‘re totally crazy and I‘m totally here for it!

Normally Madison can infuriate me.
But today they have been kind of like "comic relief" to make us laugh.

Kind of like "Scrat" in the Ice Age movies.

Not needed at all for the main storyline (Alina's SP), but the totally off the wall stunts are hilarious and lighten the mood.

Wow - if that is indeed the case, they should have known better.

Fortunate no one got seriously hurt.

I remember a competition from a couple of years ago where there was actually a small pool of water near one corner of the rink.
Not sure what caused it, or even the competition.

I wonder if any else remembers that?

for christ's sake, can they at least make sure of the quality of the ice? People's careers are at stake here. Remember that horrible competition at Skate America where almost everybody fell and 2 male skaters ended with a broken shoulder because the ice was so bad?

If the ice was bad today, the pop was due to this and not Alina having problems with her nerves! So if this ice issue is getting fixed until tomorrow there will be an even better chance Alina will rock. That‘s what my totally not professional analysis is saying anyway.

Back to serious again: It‘s actually really dangerous and if falls happen due to poor ice quality... that‘s not fair at all. Many things are at stake. Kaori‘s GPF ticket for example! Or a skater’s health in general! What if they injure themselves?! That’s more than reckless! Kaori might not have had such scary falls, Alina might not have popped her loop. We probably would have seen a cleaner competition overall!

I know that issues like these happened at the JGP. Lights going down during the program, wrong music being played, puddles on the ice, actual fog and mist on the ice... and now here, too?! What the ... ??
