Castile/Okloski: Shine on You Crazy Diamond"

She is in a beautiful tan dress with a sleek ponytail, Very fast and haunting pair spin. Awesome flow with great ice coverage. HUGE split 2 twist. Followed up by throw 3R. SBS 2A in which he fell out of. SBS spin that was average. Spirals that are fast... cover the ice so quickly! 1 hand press lift in stag position. Beautiful y-spin poisiton into the BODS. Nice program... should be in contention for a medal.

She doubled the toe, he tripled. Nice lift, but she was very cautious. Okay BODS. Throw 3R, step out. Ugly entrance into odd split 2 twist. Very close sbs spin with good unison until the end when she slowed up. Spirals... his is barely there. Pair spin to close.

Evora/Ladwig: "Black Magic Woman"

They are wearing red. Odd choice. Split 2 twist. Throw 3 Lutz with step out. 3S in which she underrotated. Hop by her into nice lift. Interesting SBS spin with nice unison. Nice pair sit to Biellman, reverse to camel. Spirals to the guitar solo section of the music. Fast BODS with nice low position to catch foot. Good performance for them, and they seem quite pleased with themselves.

Was that a double twist or a triple? They usually do a triple in the SP. I'm glad they were relatively clean but I wish they'd do the triple toes in the SP instead of the Salchows because I think they're more consistant. Oh well. At least they skated pretty well overall.
 
Namiotka/Coughlin: "Time to Say Goodbye"

Pairs spin to start. Improved speed into 3 twist. Nice. Huge throw 3sal. SBS 2 axels... maybe underrotated by both. Nice sbs spins. 1 handed behind her back lift. They are both very happy going into the spirals. BODS with low position.

Easy split 2 twist with nice delay. Spiral into BODS. Throw 3s with a soft landing. SBS 2A; she stepped out, and he underrotated. Spirals. Good unison on the SBS spin. 1-hand lift (generic) into pair spin. The music felt a little too big for them.

Nice BODS to start. Very Russian looking. SBS 3S; he fell, she stepped out. Lift that looked tentative. Throw 3Sal. Very far apart sbs spin (about 25 feet), Split 2 twist that had potential, but fell flat. Spirals. Pair spin to close. Seemed very heavy and nervous.
