Anna Shcherbakova

Oh, one crash landing. 3Lz+3Lo failed on the 2nd jump.
We know she may do better...
Anna finished second down to 0.32 point.
Not a big deal.

She definitely can do better  On the brighter side her musicality just shines more and more, she hits every accent of the music, it's insane :eeking:

The -3Lo instead of the -3T gets her so few points more in the SP, I'm not sure it is worth the risk if you fall now and then like Anna... but it is also a matter of pride I guess ;)

Excited what she will show tomorrow!

Fortunately it wasn't hard fall. It seemed to me as if she jumped that 3Lo just in passing without much attention. So not that she would lose technique, probably just some lack of concentration. I have no fear about her. And about changing -3Lo for -3T I agree that it would be unacceptable for her pride and I mean it in positive way, those girls are so good just because they hardly choose the easier way :)

OMG, that 4Lz+3T was unreal!! She got almost 20 points from that combo alone.

Her FS TES was about 85 points and FS score a bit below 150 points.

Anna hasn’t skated this program twice with the same layout. It’s a little different every time she performs.

Her combination was the best she's ever done! The 4lz looked more solid as well. Good to see that she wasn't distracted by the fall and managed to execute all the elements of her program.

Again she made it more difficult. Now it's got 6 triples, 2 quads and 2 2As. And 5 of the triples are on bonus - The only one that isn't is the 3T in combo with the 4Lutz. This is the optimal layout for doing 2 4Lutz jumps.

The 4Lutz+3T combo was amazing also. I really hope she can fix whatever is preventing her from performing the 3Lz-3Lo properly in the SP.

4Lz-3T was quite impressive. She was highly rewarded in GOE as well. Hope she can land both quads at the JGPF and her 3Lz-3Lo. It’s going to be a bloodbath.

Yep, too bad about the fall. And too bad she had to compete among juniors, where the result was kind of obvious, though Frolova and Shabotova skated very nicely..

TES could be 100+ if not that qlutz.
And those two 2A in row completely unnecessary.
She will need 3A soon to compete in seniors. Half a year left.

Hm, I disagree. I think quads will be enough to compensate for a lack of 3A. Kihira’s TES was 87.17 with two 3A’s.Anna came pretty close and she even fell.

She regularly does 3A on the floor (she did it a few times before practice at Bratislava). I wouldn’t be surprised if she tried to bring it to the ice at some point.
