Nothing ever mentioned but from previous comps, the 3F is probably her weakest jump. I think Liza Tuks May not like jumping off the inside edge as her 3S is the next weakest jump relatively while she is perfectly comfortable on the 3Lz, 3R and she obviously loves the axels.

I hate to be that person, but Liza absolutely deserved the silver today, and I think she would have gotten it had this competition been held anywhere other than Japan. Satoko had two unclear edge calls and two underrotations and Liza was step perfect except for a three turn out of an otherwise rotated 3A. Not impressed by the judging between those two.

I will personally prefer if Liza Tuks got the silver too but the scores are just too close. Satoko won primarily due to her stronger components and non jumps, which I can’t deny are visibly better. As Tuks real strength are the technical, she just needs to focus on getting them clean. Had she done a 3F in place of the 2A in the 3 jump combo, the silver would have been hers easily. I believe she will up her content as the season progresses which is what Papa Mishin always work towards. We will see stronger programmes soon.

anyway Liza is in the GPF & its all that matters. we all know about home advantage & it happens a lot @ comps in my own country to I started to look at my faves losing to someone from a host country philosophically.
+ i suppose its not only sadness she might feel about being 'only' 3rd but pride that she did her best! some sportsmen cant show all their best abilities facing strong field of competitor but she's not 1 of them!

I didn't either. I know it's the first pancake, etc. But there is a lot of room for improvement. She and the interviewee should both look directly at the camera more, and if possible type the questions on the screen for the audience. I couldn't quite understand what was going on - was she just reading fan questions that were submitted to her through Twitter/IG? Or a list of questions she had prepared? She showed him a photo on the phone but we couldn't see it... Better microphones would help, too. There are some skaters who make really pro quality videos out there, so I hope someone can give her some tips to make the future videos better.
