^ Yea pretty much. I think one of his brothers worked for NASA/studies aerospace, the other works in accounting/finance, and Alice is a writer/journalist (she went to Emory Uni which is a pretty prestigious school in the US, especially for writing). His dad was a molecular biologist and his mom a medical interpreter. Correct me if I’m wrong on any of these but his whole family is pretty ambitious.
 
One of his brothers was also a chess champ.

Nathan Supporting Team JP apparently asked him at SA about a car and he said that both he and his Mom had recently got new Acuras, although he didn't mention anything about sponsorships at the time. So that's probably what he's been using to get to Champions.
