From the end of March 2018 (around the time I joined Alina's Fanfest here)what kind of gifts are most important(wanted) to her during ice shows(question about toys thrown on ice): she answered audience happiness and fun
what she want to see in japan: pagan temple(shinto temple), it makes her calm,
whether she likes anime, manga, music, film japanese culture etc: she said no, she watched when she was kid but maybe start again
how she relax before skating: marijuana, watching videos, funny videos, laugh, music
what she wears off rink: sport one clothes, jeans
do you have boyfriend: no, no time, young, maybe in future when career ends
next goal after olympics: clean skating, show emotions to get more pcs
kids started skating because olympics(inspired): believe in yourself, set a goal and work hard to do it
but my chinese is bad(english alsonow i realize that I translated it despite not knowing english, russian and japanese
), so maybe someone who knows russian or japanese will correct my mistakes.
Does anybody remember this "translation" of an Alina interview from one of our members????
It was not from "google-translate" but he threw a little "curveball" of his own in there to see who was paying attention.

If I‘m not mistaken she said in an interview that she drank something she wasn‘t allowed to after worlds last year and the journalists asked whether it was alcohol. She denied quickly (obviously) and said it was just a softdrink or something.

I remember that. I so wanted her to reply - Yes. Three shots of vodka, straight up. Very good for relaxation after stressful competition.
But probably for the best that she didn't try to have with that particular question. I can only imagine the reaction.

Google translation for Japanese is the worst. It can be bad for other languages but seeing their attempts at Japanese/English I feel they’ve just taken bad to a whole new level.
It’s like that translation is skating to Mako’s (great skater btw) Barber of Seville dressed like the guys from “Blades of Glory”.
And then we have reporters thinking that a 16 year old girl would be knocking down a few. This 16 year old? Are they nuts?
Japanese pronounce the L in a way that is close to R, so we have Arena, Queen on the Ice Arena!! They love her so much that I’m cool with however her name sounds.
