Yeah, I saw a clip yesterday floating in twitter about Brian saying Yuzu takes his performaces seriously because he doesn't want to disappoint everyone supporting him.

There won't be "not being sure about withdrawal" at the moment . Three or four days won't make any difference to recovery process and at some point it isn't compulsory for him to do Nats just to get selected for Worlds. So it's not that hard to make decision. If he has to withdraw, he will, sooner or later. He absolutely can announce his withdrawal just 2 or 3 days before the competition without bothering anyone or anything.

Okay, I am NOT misting up here. We all miss Javi, but Yuzu surely finds it harder, all that training together and pushing each other and friendship and encouragement and rivalry...

I think so, and I guess a skater is preparing for the competition already. According to Kobayashi from JSF yesterday, they have not received Yuzuru's answer yet though.

I think if there is any way, he will go... he really wants to skate for his home fans. (and JSF quite possibly don't want to know until they have to, because they get to keep him on the publicity - he's worth more in PR than even Shoma and Rika combined). But I hope he knows everyone wants him to put his health first.
