In Alina's Black Swan program, I never noticed (until just now) what she does with her costume to show the transition from white to black (the way she smooths the sequins to the other side). Alina and evgenia help bring me back to figure skating 2 because I was so upset after 2014 Winter Olympics when Adelina Sotnikova received such hate and basically had her life ruined by internet attacks and Hate. It made me so sad and to not like the sport so much anymore but took a couple years to get past that. I think we all know what happens online these days with sniping and attacks at certain figure skaters and I think that's why someone like the original Easy E EdRoz he's very protective of Alina. She has done nothing wrong only good things about that girl. I think Sotnikova would have actually been better off if she won silver. For Alina won the gold without any controversy even Medved of us says Alina deserve the gold medal and all things considered Alinka is doing great especially considering the physical changes she's going through in the last year she's kept a very high level and I admire that in her.

Please do not turn your Alina Zagitova Fan Fest in to a place of negativity.

If you wish to discuss other people having opinions about Alina that are less than positive please take it to The Edge.

Fan Fests exist so you can gush and speak positively about your favourite skater without criticism. If you drag the critical opinions others in here then you defeat the point of Fan Fests. Also, do not bash other skaters in Fan Fests.

Keep it fun and supportive in here, guys.

FYI: It’s a lot less friendly and some people can be downright rude and insulting. Fan fests are our sanctuary from the site’s more insensitive posters. I’m in the edge a lot though and there are nice posters out there too.

patee, speaking as someone who is not as nice as Sam-Skwantch, I will warn you there are fewer nice posters on the Edge than there are Russian ladies over the age of twenty one.

I would figure a state of Zen would be a tremendous asset to navigating the edge!

There are several posters who are not so nice towards Russian Ladies who probably don’t think I’m very nice

You make fair points we should keep this positive and not bash other skaters in here and I apologize for being negative iin here this morning. It should not happen but reality says we are only human and humans make mistakes.

But what if another prominent skater bashes our favorite? Shouldn't we be allowed to voice our opinion on that in here? I have never heard Alina zagitova utter a negative word about anyone or anything which makes it hard to not comment on people and there have been many who have been negative towards her in the last year.

On a side note I've never seen an Olympic champion other than Adelina Sotnikova for other reasons be criticized the way Alina has by many prominent people in figure skating since she won the Olympics 10 months ago.

But I certainly do apologize for being as negative as I was this morning on Meagan. I wish her well.
