Alina Zagitova

Looks like they tried to put an ugly picture of Alina (for... hm... some reason). Too bad for them, she still look pretty even in that one. :agree:
Alina's endorsements are 2.5 million? US dollars? Nice. Must be the Japan yen. ;) Not sure she makes much in Russian endorsements.

We can see her at school with her tutor, doing off ice work (that jumping over the steps on one leg exercise they all do is insane, no matter how many times I see it I think that), and more on the ice with Masaru.

Plus 3Lz+3Lo+3Lo+3Lo...

Seeing Alina with her tutor reminds me again she is still a student and to all the training she has to do school things. When I was her age, I thought I have no time for anything due to school. I'm so ashamed of myself...

O. T. notice: I like they have used Fife and Gun tune from the movie Gettysburg in the video :)

Let's hope Alina is as ambitious in her academics as she is in her skating. She seems like this to me, but of course at this moment in her life and career, figure skating comes first.
Generally, without the burden of school schedules (where often the smaller part of classes is devoted to actual learning), a brainy and ambitious youth like Alina can more effectively study by herself under guidance of a tutor.

What are her plans for a future after her competitive figure skating career has ended?

What are her plans for a future after her competitive figure skating career has ended?

In one interview she mentioned that after the Olympics she was seriously thinking about quitting figure skating and already started to write a book about her career. Then she changed her mind and decided to continue in her career. It could be even a good contribution for the next capters of her book. I can definitely imagine Alina as a writer, she is a bit introvert and this could be good way for her how to share her emotions.

Earlier she wanted to study medicine or some other medical studies, but as she doesn't have so much time for her studies, she is thinking about being a trainer or choreographer. Who knows maybe her and Diana (Eteris daughter and a good friend of Alina) will continue the Eteri´s legacy in Khrustalny like next generation trainers:)

And once Alina mentioned, she would like to have a Japanese restaurant in Moscow.

Let´s see:biggrin:

I doubt that’s accurate as well. Why are we only just hearing about it now? I still don’t understand how she’d want to quit skating when she should have years ahead of her...it was her first senior season [emoji23]

Alina never mentioned that after the Olympics she was seriously thinking about quitting figure skating. She just said that started to write a book about her career but then changed her mind, because there is still a lot of interesting things ahead.

Yes. She also said that she has a "secret dream", that's motivating and helping her to move forward. She did not want to say what this dream is about, but I have a feeling it's something that's begininning with B, ends in EIJING, year 2022.

Go, sweet Alina, you can do it! :yahoo:

Beijing 2022, and we can expect another 15 y.o. Champion most likely. Alina and the other Awesome Khrustalniy Aces could still be in contention of course, but given OG champions statistics, this is unlikely.

I don't disagree with you, in fact I am well aware of many skaters who are going to be senior eligible next year, and especially in 2021-2022 season, and I am a huge fan of many of them. But, I choose to believe, because Alina deserves it, and as long as she decides to compete at the highest level, I will always believe in her ability to make all her wishes come true.
