Not sure where she was but I think she only did 1 number today (her SP). Maybe she had to leave early?

She landed 3F and popped her Lutz but tried it again later at the very end of her program and had a bad step out/fall (couldn’t tell) hopefully she didn’t injure herself on that jump 😭
 
Eteri responded at her IG why Alyona had only 1 performance on the second day. She performed only SP ans skipped EX.

Apparently, Alyona and her parents left right after her 'Leftorvers' SP ("angelic") - she has a MATH exam at school tomorrow at 9 am. :) They had a plane to catch so thats why they skipped vampire EX and grand finale & group photo on the second day.

Vampires have to study math too? C'mon.
 
What a pleasure to see Alyona back on the ice!! :hap57: Even if she hasn't totally recovered, she is still sooo beautiful to watch! :love:

I said this before, but I do hope that Eteri/Daniil let Alyona express her inner devil in her competitive programs. I would love to see her skate to something dark and elegant like "Danse Macabre," or play an ondine/rusalka. She has an otherworldly beauty, and we know she's a little devil, so I think that kind of program would really suit her! :yes:

Today she landed the 3F in her Angel program successfully, so she tried the 3Lz from steps and popped it...so then she totally skipped the end part of her step sequence/part of her layback spin and tried it again (and fell). Crazy child!!! :devil:

I admire her desire to push herself technically...but I really wish she would wait until she's 100% recovered!! :bow:

Glad to hear it’s just a math exam and not injury related!
 
Good to read Kostornaya takes her education and academics seriously.

She’ll have to sit lots of end of year exams?

I am not too familiar with the Russian school system.

I think she is giving the so called "Basic State Exam", for 9th grade. She probably will give exams on Mathematics, Russian, Biology and Chemistry, within the next 7 days. Some Russian member can give more information I guess.
