Alina Zagitova

I really hope Daniil announces Alinas program(s) tomorrow! Hopefully since Sasha’s FS has been released.

I’d rather Alina announces her programs on her own. The less we see & hear from thirsty Daniil, the better.

If Teamzagitova would remain private for longer time, it will make me to make and instagram account, something I thought it's impossible...

I'm in their blacklist and I don't know why  so I can't see anything too

Given recent events her short program should be "Jailhouse Rock" and her long program could be "Folsom Prison Blues".

It will all be ok. If she does have to explain anything publicly she can remind everyone to wear a seatbelt. She shared a really nice moment with her dad teaching her how to drive on a quiet, deserted neighborhood street. She sees her dad maybe 3 or 4 times a year. They made a nice memory together. Hopefully, everyone can move on and let them live.

Unless of course she stole the car and Sabina is the one riding shotgun and filming. :dev2:

I kind of like the second version better.

I can't resist this picture: Alina driving car like crazy through the highway with police sirens following her car, Sabina shooting back and Alina's car radio playing I Fought the Law on the highest volume.
(note: I'm law obeying citizen supporting police normally ;))

So the article on sports.ru about Alina's driving adventures prompted a few comments to say the least. Lots of reminiscing about learning to drive with instructors in Moscow during rush hour traffic and the lasting trauma caused by this. The funniest phrase I read that Google translated was, I kid you not, - I almost gave birth to a hedgehog! :laugh2:

I will now be using this phrase in my everyday life.

And keeping it on topic - Daniil looked like he almost gave birth to hedgehog during Alina's freeskate at RusNats

Do you need help setting up your new Instagram account? :p

Don't work on the basis of barter
That was just a joke of course, you know that if it would be possible and necessary, I would do my best for Alina. After all, I found some pleasure in defending her with my all power here :)

Actually, I was very impressed with Alina, she looked very confident driving whereas a little more than a year ago she seemed afraid to even honk the horn on her new BMW.

We use this phrase in my country too

What do you say instead?

I'm not sure this is in keeping with the positive tone of this thread but since you asked and in the interest of promoting cultural understanding -

I almost s**t a brick.

Keeping it on topic, Daniil looked like this after Alina's freeskate at RusNats while waiting for her scores. :(

There is really no way to spin that positively.

At least hedgehogs are cute.

You could also say "I almost had a cow" (instead of a hedgehog, hehe):)
