they are done and probably wont be coming back. Maybe they don't get along or have recurring injuries, you just don't skip GP like that your not even world champions or in post olympics yet.
Ah okay, that makes sense actually. Vanessa is older so a full season might be to much compared to the low intensity of the TV show. I was worried they’d retired!
Goodness, with those impressive predictive powers, can you give me next week's x-lotto numbers too?
She mentioned in an Instagram story that they were inspired to keep on until 2022 because France was awarded the Worlds following the Olympics. They want to have their last competitive skate in front of their home crowd. Having a recuperation season before coming back full force certainly increases their chances of doing that, I think.
I was going to comment to @Jammers: seriously dude do you really care? But @Hyena, you beat me to the punch, with a K/O! That was going to be my comment -- it looks like Vanessa and Morgan are following Sui and Han's lead. As Vanessa said, this is the first time in 9 consecutive seasons they have ever missed, and I think it's awesome they are missing their first GP season to earn some serious $$$ to do a TV show, and not due to injury!!
I'm totally hyped, psyched, shaking with excitement, and beaming with joy! Since they have committed to 2020 Europeans, I seriously hope they will continue to follow Sui and Han's lead and compete at 2020 World's in Montreal, and hopefully some of S/H luck will rub off on J/C and they will finally break their 9 year World Championship CURSE!!
Well now that first 2 CS Events are done here is an uptade version of Alternates list
Thanks for the updated list! I may recall wrong, but I could have sworn there was an updated GP entries list for SA which said that Bradie, Karen and Amber were the ones participating? So no TBD spot to fill there anymore.
Tatsuya is still in juniors, I don't think he could be an alternate for a senior event?
But all in all, very comprehensive.
Cup of China host picks updated :
He ZHANG
Feiyao TANG / Yongchao YANG (it's their 2nd GP)
Yuzhu GUO / Pengkun ZHAO
Ladies is still TBA. Ashley Lin isn't eligible, Xiangning Li had hard times at Nationals... Maybe the 3rd spot will be given to another country? There's already 3 Japanese and 3 Russian, so Young You? Yelim Kim? Yi Christy Leung?
Ryom/Kim have got French GP's vacant spot according to the French Fed webpage aboout Grenoble GP (see list under "partecipants" section)

It's based on last season then? Sorry, I don't know how the system works, the only thing I know for sure is that Sota's new PB is 240 which is why I'm kind of surprised he's still so far back...
