It’s 4:19 pm in Moscow Russia right now. So the senior ladies are starting in just a little over 4 hours? The women should start at 20:45 Moscow time.

I’m so excited! I don’t even know the music choices of Guliakova or Talalakina! Please please be good!
Both Sof’ya’s unhappy over their performances, Akat’yeva even crying it seems.
...Who talks like this about anyone?...
Can anybody (perhaps the resourceful Spirals) point to a source listing all the podium medals garnered by the Tutberidze skaters last season? I'm after a comprehensive listing that includes all the levels, younger, elder girls, juniors and seniors (and boys as well if available)? Tia.
Actually, plenty of commenters talk like this here in the Russian Ladies thread, about many of the successful Russian skaters. Any page, any cluster of comments, you will find oodles negativity. either outright and unremitting, or lurking under the guise of constructive criticism or modulated a little by grudging faint praise.
One recognises that this is not a fan thread, but as someone who visits this thread hoping to find and share in celebration of the astounding universe of Russian ladies skating (indeed, with a healthy balance of constructive criticism), which is truly at the vanguard of what's happening elsewhere, I find the RLFS thread a singularly ugly place to hang out.
Perhaps we need a separate thread, called "celebrating Russian ladies figure skating" where just a little more wonder towards the subject matter adn a little less "constructive criticism" could be the order of the day?
Sasha got 65 PCS, btw  Is it too much or too low for seniors? What other senior ladies were with this number in PCS? It would be interesting to compare them - for reference, I suppose![]()

Off topic, but the fact that she got only 65 in PCS and still took the world record says a lot about how incredible she is. That and the fact that she's almost 10 points behind the ladies' SP world record and still took the combined total world record...that's power.
