Alyona's 3A looks incredible! This is going to be such an exciting and intriguing season...a quad and 3A queens bloodbath.

I sort of knew she would add the 3A, she doesn't want to rely on mistakes byTrusova or any other quad/3A ladies, she wants to be right up there with them in technical difficulty.

She really is the complete package, she has it all.

The GOE on that is going to be gigantic, especially if she does two of them!

I'm so in love with Alena's beautiful, spacious jumps - not just the 2A/3A, which are the best, but also every time she does the 3F-3T Rippon I pretty much fall on the floor and speak in tongues.

Everything she does is so lovely, I hope she will get the full Kostner treatment from judges who want to preserve the beauty of skating.

Hey, I get that there are not enough spots for russian ladies already, but no need to be so mean to Sotskova.
It's probably her last shot at GPs anyway, if she won't deliver, they won't give her another chance next year, most likely.
Just... she earned her spot, she was doing quite well in her Olympic season and she's using the credit of trust she earned back then. She didn't get her spot out of nowhere.

How can you be forced to not decide for skaters when they should retire? :disapp: If she wants to continue and still has strength perhaps we should support her and not decide a skater who was top 3 in Russia mere 2 seasons ago is done.

Why would you want someone to be forced to retire from the sport they love? I understand that last season and the beginning of this season have not been very strong for Maria, but you should not wish that upon her. If she retires it should be because SHE wants to retire. How would feel if someone told you that you should retire from the sport you love? Or if someone forced you to retire?

I normally don't comment on rude posts, but I had to for this one.
