In the old days I'm sure the top skaters would pick their events. Or at least the winner could pick any two of the six, then the second place getter could pick from the four left, then the bronze medallist would get the last two (because the podium winners couldn't meet each other - did they stop doing that or am I just imagining rules again)
So the calls...
Alena
3A< is extremely harsh she is lacking about 10minutes (yes i measure rotation in minutes on a clock) is I would say this call is incorrect. The reduction in GOE I would say is acceptable du to slight lacking in rotation (though not enough for < call) and the shaky landing
Could you maybe explain that comment because I have honestly no idea what you're talking about.
I don't think it is rare to see "not 100 % clearly backward on the landing". In comparison to what was called as UR here (and what is not called UR elsewhere) definitely.
If she was missing 10 minutes (I like your clock metaphor for measuring rotations!), then that is enough for a < call under the current system. They used to allow a quarter turn of "forgiveness", which would be 15 minutes, but now there is none.
I disagree with this rule as it is too harsh IMO. But that is what the rule is.
Sometimes I think we need two different Russian ladies' threads...one for sane people who want to discuss the skaters and performances, and one for people who want to complain and stir up drama and make up conspiracy theories....

You can what? Sorry, you can't give "e" out of the blue to anybody, no mater junior or senior, male or female. I just rewatched slo-mo replay in slow-mo. It isn't inside at all. Not even close to that.Yes, you can. This is Alina's first serious competition of the season. It is possible that her lutz edge has worsened since she grew more, as that can mess with technique. I'm sure they are working on it.
Anyway, Alina's SP is my favorite program she has ever had. It suits her perfectly, and her dress and styling are gorgeous.
Well, if you think that judges are unfair then if you are silent nothing will change. Judges continue to be unfair. It was not a perfect skate and she is first after SP. For example Anna's situation was much worse but she didn't say anything (i may be wrong). I just afraid that such comments may attract more attention from judges, you totally don't want that.

That Jeroen Prins should be investigated.
The judging was harsh but generally fair, they didn't just bury one or two skaters but were equally hard on almost all of them.
I see ! on Alina's lutz, possibly inching over to inside but not fully. The e call was very harsh but not completely out of thin air

who is the tech controller ?
Zagitova and Kostornaya can actually land lutzes unlike say Medvedeva who cannot even go flat on that jump. An e call is very harsh when she's at most flat on that jump. Osmond's lutz, Pogorilaya and Gold and their flips those are textbook definition of e's.
Olympic champion in figure skating Alina Zagitova commented on her performance in the short program at the French Grand Prix, where she became the second.
“Of course, it was possible to perform even better, It was decent perfomance, there is something to work on, and most importantly, I just went out and skated with pleasure. I went out and calmly skated, ” said Zagitova.
