FFKKR explained why judges fined Zagitova at the Grand Prix stage in France
The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) explained in an article on its official website why the Olympic champion Alina Zagitova received a penalty point at the Grand Prix stage in France.
“The point was withdrawn from the skater due to the fact that after the final pose she lowered her hand, and this was counted as a movement,” the report says.
Initially, it was assumed that Zagitova received the dedication for having gone beyond the time limit during the execution of the program.
