For Gods sake if Anastasia with all her talent can't get funding who can? This girl needs some good things to happen for her because it's a jungle with the Russian ladies. The competition for the Russian girls is out of this world.
 
Well, Anastasia won the 5th round of the Cup of Russia, .. but, I'm a little confused as to why she didn't skate the .. Frida Program.

.. yet today, .. different music, and different choreography, .. if one could call it that. It seemed like she was making it up as she went along .. :)

Anyway, .. she skated well and won, .. so, congrats on being able to pull it off without your normal program and music.

Does anyone know why the sudden change in Program?
 
Perhaps a copyright claim to the OST popped up?

Or Anastasiya is already preparing a senior FS program?

Her new program is Evanescence? :luv17: It suits her better than the old one, but feels a bit empty at the beginning... probably because it's new. I hope she nails it soon! The technical elements were very good and the last spin is as fast as ever :love:
 
Her new program is SOOOOO much better. The dress is flattering and disguises her posture issues pretty well. She looks good. Good for her!

Before heading back to her home rink, where she shows us how to boot up and shares a few clips from the training sessions.
 
I was hoping so much she would have a good outing at Nats to draw more attention to herself. Will she ever get a chance? :sad46:
 
Noooo, Nastya! I was so looking forward to seeing her skate!

But it's wise to rest her injury to make sure it doesn't get worse. :(

I hope she has a awesome Russian Cup Final!
