it's interesting how some ladies have success so young, the will never really get a youth Olympics. Either you are too young, like Kamila, or you are at the top of your sport in seniors (like the 3A).
Actually skaters born every fourth year can't compete at YOG just because the age eligibility covers 3 years. This year skaters born in 2003-2005 are eligible, in 2016 born in 1999-2001, in 2012 - in 1995-1997. What means that those born in 1998 and 2002 were excluded from the competition according to the rules, like Samarin and Rizzo was - and Kamila Valieva is/will be as she's born in the next "excluding" year: 2006.
