Which Republican candidate do you support?

:sheesh: since there is no eye-rolling.

Toni and I will take over this thread as the lone evil Republicans. ;)

Look at it this way, Lanie. Golden Skate has 9780 members. 26 people voted on the "favorite Democrat" thread.

That means there are 9754 Republicans on the board!

no that just means there are that many democrats finding themselves looking at their party like I'm looking at mine!

right now the best one of the bunch is Fred Thompson! Though I might be convinced to vote Guliani, I have NO desire to see McCain get the ticket... gag me if he does!

I'm goin' for Romney... him and Thompson are the only real conservatives on board. The others are fakes and neocons!

I am a republican but I don't know who I like.

That being said...how funny is it that Guliani's daughther (with whom he is estranged) put on her facebook page that she is a member of a Barak Obama club!!!!

that doesn't really surprise me, I don't vote exactly like my parents.

maybe she's just on there to see what the other side is saying? ;)

Actually Guliani's children are estranged from him. This happend when he divorced their mother and married Judi Nathan, his current wife. His son Andrew has said that he would never vote for his father.

His daughter has since taken her Barak Obama thing of her facebook page.

It's their right and I can't say that I blame them...

I would just hope they didn't vote for the other guy just to spite their father but because they felt the other guy was truly the better choice (or lesser of two evils as the case may be lol)

Surprisingly enough, the candidate I dislike the least in the race right now is Romney (especially if both chambers of Congress go Democratic, thus holding off some of his socially conservative agenda). What I like most about him is that he is not an ideologue; he is intelligent, and is a man of action. Though I must admit that his support of actually enlarging Guantanamo really disgusts me (though not as much as Obama saying he'd use our troops in Pakistan). I used to be a big McCain supporter in the past, but I don't think he's done too well in this campaign; I may end up supporting him in the end anyway, not sure yet. Could see myself voting for Giuliani under certain circumstances. With any of the other Republican candidates, I'd vote for any Democrat on the ticket.

You mean they are the only social conservatives. When it come to fiscal and foreign policy, McCain is certainly a conservative.
