2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

Both of you are completely missing my initial point, it's not about a presumably famous landscape that happens to be recognized by some, but the detailed research and records of her location and what she might be doing.

No, you're missing the point - there's no 'detailed research' required to recognize a familiar view. And nobody would have cared 'what she might be doing' if she'd just continued posting her motivational videos about the importance of training & staying at home, instead of posting pictures of her travelling around.

Both of you are completely missing my initial point, it's not about a presumably famous landscape that happens to be recognized by some, but the detailed research and records of her location and what she might be doing. I've in fact seen assumptions about which hotel she's staying at based on the furniture seen in the background of her posts. Are you seriously suggesting this behaviour is okay because people are currently bored? This is not a fanpage posting news, official photos and fanart, which is something you might do to occupy your time.

Nobody here brought an analysis of hotel furniture (well, you just did). Recognising the skyline of your hometown publicly posted is not a detailed research - people just noticed that it is Niigata.

On some other boards and social media apps it has already turned into a 'hunters and prey' kind of game. People making anonymous inquiries at rinks and hotels using all kinds of excuse, and publish their 'findings', trying to reconstruct the trail and 'guess the next move', making it a contest.
I my opinion this game has lost its innocence and is getting dangerous. Hence my earlier concern down thread over the safety and wellbeing of Medvyedeva. She is an adult, yes, but still a stranger in a strange land. Hope her friends keep her safe and prevent her from making things worse.

I'm talking about the whole account, not a single tweet, if you still think all of this is okay there's nothing more I can say.

That I completely agree with. But I suggest we restrain from discussing those on this forum. So far we managed to keep the discussion and 'research' within civilised and socially accepted borders.

I have full faith in Zhenya and her ability to get out of sticky wickets, she is a strong person! She will be fine.

Thank you, finally someone who understands. I didn't want to drag any more of this dirt into this forum so I just used the account that has already been linked here as an example. I'll leave it at that.

Please don't put words into my mouth - I don't think stalking is ok; and neither is the demonstrated blatant arrogance and hypocrisy.

Her travel to Japan was unnecessary in the first place.

etc.

Evgenia left Toronto on April the 1st. The borders were still open. The shows scheduled for May were still to take place. On April the 1st nobody, literally nobody, even here, could say for sure that the show she was going to would be cancelled. So please don't play a know-it-all on May the 4th.

Anyway, stupid me, I was sure that people here were concerned about her health, or, recently, about the health of these older Japanese in the Aomari Prefecture. How naive I was. Evgenia can have an access to an ice rink - that's a real problem :laugh2:. Guys, you still amaze me, honestly.

It was clear to anyone with a brain (and Zhenya certainly is smart and clever!) that the show wouldn't go on.

And you are missing the point. It is good for her that she found an opportunity to train.

We are all playing a Prisoner's dilemma (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/prisoners-dilemma.asp) in real life at the moment, where we as a group would benefit if we we follow the better strategy for the group, collectively. Individuals who in this game decide to play a strategy which benefit them individually, on the assumption that the rest of the group will follow the 'group' strategy, that is a concern.
Hypocrisy when these individuals make themselves faces of 'stay at home' campaign is another concern.

Google

"The investigation check of the show 'Sleeping Beauty' with Alina Zagitova."
You can read about 8 million rubles from the state budget that Zagitova took, and "Aksenov PE" as intermediate firm.

https://www.sportsdaily.ru/news/sledstvennyj-komitet-nachal-proverki-iz-za-shou-spyashhaya-krasavicza-s-alinoj-zagitovoj

https://www.sport-express.ru/figure-skating/reviews/sledstvennaya-proverka-nachalnika-eteri-tutberidze-i-ee-trenerskoy-gruppy-v-hrustalnom-eduarda-aksenova-shou-s-alinoy-zagitovoy-1656277

And so on.

None of the above is official statement. Also, they prove nothing, certainly not what you claimed. It states that all members of the cast got money through PE, and also state that it is normal practice. In case of Alina, as she is underaged the contract was through "PE Aksyonov".
No one else is getting investigated, but Aksyonov (The link you provided obviously does not state for what - it is not a public knowledge at this point) - I guess some concerned citizens can't distinguish between Aksyonov and PE Aksyonov, easy mistake to make for not experienced in legal paperwork, so the authorities had to go through investigation. I suggest you wait for the end result of the said investigation before you start spreading unfounded accusations showing your ignorance on the matter.

ETA to clarify The article leads us to believe that the investigation is because Aksyonov got this money from the budget but did not participate in the show.

Nobody claims that she committed a crime.

Her travelling to Japan in the middle of Pandemic was bad and irresponsible.

Her travelling inside Japan and then not following rules of self isolation was worse.

Nobody demand her arrest for that, simply they are calling her actions what they are: irresponsible and selfish.
She is not alone in this. For example, after the cancellation of the World Championship and training, Zagitova traveled from Moscow to Kazan. There she visited a bookstore. Photo. No masks, no social distance. It was March 28 - just 5 days before Medvedeva's flight to Japan.

Nice try, but there is a big difference between going home to be with your family and going to foreign country and then traveling inside said country.

P.S while you are at it, what was recommendations of Mayor Of Kazan on 28th March regarding the situation?

Not to mention she’s as an underage kid, her parents obviously would want to have her with them. Going home to be with your mom and dad when you’re underage in the midst of a pandemic.... wow, the crime!

OFF TOPIC....
These stories are about Aksenov who is not a Russian Ladies figure skater.

Exactly... the whole “scandal” wasn’t even around Alina, it was about the fact that Aksenov’s name appears there (as PE”Aksenov”), and Alina’s doesn’t, so someone thought Aksenov was “stealing” Alina’s hard earned money. That’s the whole “scandal”, which turned out to be bogus.
