If Dudakov leaves, Eteri is in trouble.

For the sake of the team we can hope that it isn't dudakov because if it is than as you said eteri is in trouble. And I would not even know how and with whom they would fill the space he leaves. And that could start an avalanche of itherskatersleaving too......

Well even before we had heard of members of her staff leaving because they couldn't stand Eteri Tutberidze's stubborness, the idea that she will always have the final say on everything, this happened many times for example with choreographers prior to Daniil Gleikhengauz.

I think Plushenko probably offered more freedom on certain aspects (considering he's more of a marketing figure rather than the main coach) and more money, but the big reason why this is happening i think it's some behind the scenes political work maybe from Tarasova or someone else, in order to ensure this new team will have the political push.

Remember that there is that council which Tarasova, Mishin, Tutberidze, Tchaikovskaya and others are all part of, and those are the people who vote on the most important decisions like who's going to Worlds when there is a tie (those are the people who dropped Tuktamysheva out of 2019 Worlds), probably funding as well or decisions like who gets the GP/JGP spots again when it's uncertain.

Cause nobody would want to leave Sambo70 only to disappear 6 months after, right? This could have happened years ago so someone has done the behind the scenes work in order to make that move compelling enough.

Do you think it’s Tarasova stirring it up? What would the benefit be for her to do that for Plushenko? If anything, she would do it for CSKA, right?

No, not the same thing in the least bit, and no, it will not suddenly make everyone in Russia change their minds about either Medvedeva or Trusova.

Because she doesn't deserve it neither for that matter did zhenya but to each their own and that's all I will say about this.

President of Sambo70 said that only Evgenia's coaching change was agreed by them, probably meaning they approved it before it took place. He also added that they still have a great relationship with her and her family.
So I guess from his words it means that Sasha's and the Zhilina sisters' coaching change was not approved?

She did that before with Medvedeva too helping her transition to Orser, i think she just wants to stop Tutberidze's dominance. Maybe she realized it's not possible to do it through CSKA, or maybe she wants multiple clubs to try that between Trusova with Plushenko, Samodelkina at CSKA, Medvedeva and Tuktamysheva also still being in there.

I’m not talking solely about your comment, there’ve been multiple ones, leaning it to be like “oh, I’ve seen that one person comment negatively about Sasha, which means whoever leaves Eteri gets hate”.
No, that’s not true. Multiple girls and boys left that camp, and no, they didn’t all suddenly get hated on just because they left.

I mean, how else were they supposed to notify the coaches especially if it was a recent decision? it's not like they can meet face to face or send a lawyer over cuz of the quarantine. Also Trusova not answering their calls makes perfect sense. This is probably a dicey time and not the time to talk to them because what ever she says can be manipulated to fit everyone's narrative. There will be time in the future to call them, give thanks and even send gifts

One can be fairly certain Eteri Georgiyevna's ways of dominance and control are not for everybody, neither adult trainers working with her, athletes being coached by her, or their parents.

There are different strong and established training groups in Russian figure skating, including some commercial ones. Unlike rhythmic gymnastics, which is a tight monopoly controlled by Irina Viner-Usmanova.

One has to remember however, which one brings in the most medals, sponsor contracts and lucrative endorsements. A change of tide is currently sweeping over the scene, but once everything has calmed down and business has resumed, we can draw up the balance. Then the real work begins, making all these aspirations come true.

The fight pro-contra the age rise now has a new participant with completely different interests. Keeping young skaters fresh and healthy for a long career in commercial skating vs winning medals while young to boast your ego and land those endorsements/sponsorships for the most important teenager and young adult market.

I didn’t mean that’s what’s sad, that she didn’t talk to them. It makes perfect sense, she’s still only 15.
