As can see that they do not know Plushenko, with Plushenko everything is always about money. However, what hurts him the most about what happened with Kostornaia is not training someone for practically free, but make... it so that whoever winner is Eteri.

bla...bla.. I really don't understand why don't the Russians have a single original thought? :scratch2:

Kolyada's situation was different in that he changed coaches much earlier than Aliona and by the time it was announced on the press (in june I think), the federation already had his documents.
Aliona's decision to switch was more impulsive, much later and last we heard not long ago was that the fed still didn't have her documents.
Thank you for making seasone of this and what Kolyada did and why it was different.

Daria Panenkova has officially announced her retirement and transition to coaching

I am sorry Dashas career ended like it did. She had great promise a few year ago. But injuries and puberty and coaching changes stalled her development. Good luck to Dasha in coaching. Maybe she will end up back at TT like Polina did. :)

I saw yesterday an Instagram post saying Anna os having trouble landing her quad lutzes and 3lz3lo. She fell on both quad lutzes on her new program and had a stepout in 3lz3lo.

The fact that she attempted 2 means it looks like she has some confidence in them (given that this Instagram post is true).
I frankly don’t see a reason why girls should be trying too hard this season. After very long time off ice and given that there’s not much happening this season, they shouldn’t rush their prep and take their time to stabilize their elements. Hope all of them won’t throw their all into this season, there’s a lot more coming next season.

It's 4th of September people..... So what if Anna fell on the quads and had a step out on the 3lz3lo.... Given everything that went in the off season, cut everyone some slack. In 10 days they'll be scrutinized as if they're not humans anyway. It's incredibly hard already as it is.

Edit: And it's simply too early to judge the rest of the season, there's a ton of things that can go right or wrong for anyone.

Sorry, can you link the post? I'm looking through her tag and I can't find it.

yup. people need to realize that a couple months completely off the ice even still doing strength and conditioning training is still a really long time to be off. nothing can replicate or come close to actually training on ice and doing jumps and spins on ice. no one should expect these girls to even be close to the shape they were in last season. the fact Anna is going for quads in a long program after only a few weeks is really remarkable to how resilient and hard working she is.

I guess its normal that skaters fall a lot during training. Especially when training Quads! Or did they do some sort of "skate off"?

So, first somehow significant competition has started today in Moscow, girl's SP. Overally I would say the judging was quite harsh with levels, esp. for stsq. But it can be said the month more from the test skates can be recognized.

Sofia did very well in her SP. A very nice 3A+3T.

1. Trusova switches to Plushenko.
2. Rozanov switches to Plushenko.
3. Kostornaia switches to Plushenko.
4. Plushy calls Daniil's programs "horrible".
5. Berestovskaya's quad on insta.
6. Zhilina's 3A3T on insta.
7. Samodelkina tearing up opponents at junior test skates.

Eteri
(trying on new Louis Vuitton coat): Sofia dear, could you...?
Akatieva: With pleasure ma'am. I'm gonna fight 'em all, a seven nation army couldn't hold me back...

I did a double take because I thought Sergei Dudakov had a Santa Claus beard but it's just a mask, I think.

Yes, he had it during the whole day everytime he was in the take. I didn't have the same idea but now when you say it...

Just imagine Sergei coming down through the chimney and bringing you a new 3A.

The 3A looks underrotated and the 3T is excessively pre-rotated and it is underrotated too! Hmmm... I counted 3 revolutions in the air for the 3A and 2 revolutions in the air for the 3T...
It should be 3.50 revolutions in the air for the 3A
