Congrats on the huge and over the top score.. ;-) But Anna was clearly unsatisfied, I hope she's OK, she almost looked like she was in some kind of pain one moment..

It looked like a slightly less than satisfying landing after 2nd jump in the combo. Lost at least one GOE point

That is such a pretty dress! And I love the long sleeves and gloves - they really draw attention to Anna's arms, which are just beautiful.

Anna was head and shoulders over the rest of the skaters today, though she didn't like the landing on her combo, which I confess did make me wince in real time, as she stalled and turned very tightly coming out of it. For a moment, I thought she might have a step out, but the more fool me, because Anna has such good balance and strength. Her opening jumping pass, though, really impressed me in terms of the length of ice covered; I know her jumps are considered smaller than the norm, but that double axel really looked good to me. I wonder if the rippon helps?

May she have another lovely skate tomorrow!

I'd say not bad for the beginning of the season.. I think she saved the successful quad attempt for the competition.. but she doesn't need it to win anyway..

Oh my gosh, Anna's expression at the end. "What on earth did I do?" It made me laugh. She is adorable.

164.27=90.03 + 74.24. I think this time Anya should be satisfied with both the score and the skating, at least a little bit more than sp! Both quads will be good this season.
