You know, I never even stopped to think about that!Hopefully, if nothing untoward, like the health regulator closing all sport venues, happens, we'll be able to see that soon:
All the stuff we used to take for granted.

"On November 6-7, the CSKA Arena will host the Figure Skating Lovers Festival - one of the brightest and most spectacular events of this fall with the participation of the best Moscow figure skating schools.
The festival will host the first stage of the Moscow City Cup and the competition among adult amateurs "MozerTeam". The culmination of the festival will be an unforgettable gala evening, with world figure skating stars performing for the guests of the event: Alina Zagitova, Artur Danielyan, Javier Fernandez, Tiffany Zagorski - Jonathan Gureiro, Victoria Sinitsina - Nikita Katsalapov, Tatiana Volosozhar - Maxim Trankov."

True, but he also has some rather disruptive ideas in energy sector in general, so I’d say he’s a revolutionary in his own regard. All I know about Elon Musk is he is a guy with a lot of money.
And didn't he send something into space just recently?
I'm still glad they changed the "backloading bonus".
Because Alina will stand as the only senior skater to do a fully backloaded long program.
Off on a tangent....
I loved the way "journalists" like a certain Christine Brennan tried to insinuate the bonus was some sort of "all of nothing deal".
Not actually saying it, but inferring that you had to fully backload to get the bonus and Alina was gaining some monstrous scoring advantage from it.
When in fact, a fully backload program was worth just a couple of more points than an almost backloaded program.
And as we found out at 2018 Worlds.... There were definite risks involved in backloading everything.
What won the 2018 Olympics for Alina?
Her having the "balls" to attempt the 3Lz-3Lo late in the program, after aborting the first attempt.
Courage and grace under pressure. If Alina had fallen on that combo, maybe it would have knocked her off the medal stand entirely.
Her Esmeralda program please

I'll see your
....

I know in my heart this thing has a good chance of not happening because 2020 is allergic to joy, but I am going to be happy about the possibility of it for as long as possible!I'll see your....
And raise you![]()

Rospotrebnadzor (Russian regulator) says:
"Don't jinx it with all your, folks".
So here's to the power of the skating gods triumphing over the forces of destruction My first thought was "yeah - I'll believe it when I see it".I know in my heart this thing has a good chance of not happening because 2020 is allergic to joy, but I am going to be happy about the possibility of it for as long as possible!

We're all that girl in the background dropping her jaw and then clapping.YouTube decided to suggest this video today and I am grateful! Let‘s remember why she is the Olympic champion and the winner of everything. It was not because she was just lucky ;-)
Off topic: I thought this smiley was a new version of the cheerleader smilies we already had, but only now noticed that those aren't pompoms, just it's hair? with flowers.
