oh well... I'm used to this wait and see we've had lately on what we'll get on tv....

ANy one know if any Canadian channels are showing any of these competitions. I can't get ESPN and i prefer to not have to watch the entire season on you-tube.

I think CBC is now broadcasting figure skating, as the contract with CTV/TSN had expired and never came to an agreement afterwards.

I'm not sure what the existing contract was with ABC/ESPN. It was supposed to expire after the GP Finals in 2007. So I am happy to see them around.

My first thoughts of NBC was that their taking over the TV figure skating schedules was soley for 2010 Olympic hype (sponsors buy their ads at top charge) and no comps outside the US would be shown on NBC. Those thoughts are what's happening. I hope they keep with the 2009 Worlds in L.A.

It was good to see ABC/ESPN showing 5 days of Worlds 2008. It will be nice to see Dick, Peggy and Terry. I'm sure that Worlds will be LIVE in part as it usually was. Still confused about ABC/ESPN's contract. Maybe they are doing it on their own. They have all the resources for it.
