Just looking at it. After rewatching the Flip I'm OK with the !, but Aliona's combo surely shouldn't receive positive GOE, that's not right. Wonder whether we will hear complaints about the scoring now.

I agree that the combo should have gotten negative GOE, there's no arguing about that. But honestly, that's negated a bit by her PCS. 36 is too high for that program but in the context of the National inflation, it seems even slightly low. Remember, Anna got over 37 at the third event with a worse mistake, so... She was definitely overscored and I would have had Sasha in first but it's not as outrageous as other things we've seen in terms of judging.

Since your last two predictions were not exactly spot on, I am now a bit worried as a Sasha fan.

Third's the charm, isn't it? I have to be right at least once. Also, I'm a Sasha fan, too. And we've seen today that Aliona just isn't completely there yet. If Sasha skates at least as well as she did at her last cup, I truly believe she will win.

It has to be level 4 with an average of +4 GOE.

Components consist of many things. We can talk how much the mistakes cost, point or two, but we should also consider the "original" height. Like having 38 without mistake that costs 2 or having 37 without mistake that costs 1.

BTW I didn't call anything "outrageous" so far, that's your personal matter with which I'm not competing
