Beautiful clean skate by Labutina. Decent 3A, very nice 3F, good jumps throughout. Just a little more connection to the music was missing.

I managed to catch up on everything yesterday, and was most happy for dance! New to me Bilibina/Kashaev were great and top 6 were all pretty watchable. Junior women were nice too, but i am really worried about Kostyleva with both the stupid drama in off-season and the return to ice with 3A no less too early

Juniors do not have step sequence but choreo sequence.

Kostyleva's PR is not bad, all things considered. She is just 14. She has standard junior PR with great SS. The only problem for me are her entries. They're just ruinous.

It's pretty standard for juniors. A couple basic positions and armwork finishing with a hydroblade at high speed. 1.00 is reasonable.

I think Elena KOSTYLEVA's main difficulty is that as she put considerable amount of time in jumping 3A and some quads, she no longer has enough time to do spins/steps sequences - that was also main reason why she got so few score yesterday.

I think Elena KOSTYLEVA's main difficulty is that as she put considerable amount of time in jumping 3A and some quads, she no longer has enough time to do spins/steps sequences - that was also main reason why she got so few score yesterday.

She had StSq3 and 2 level 4 spins. Last season all of her SPs had StSq4 and good spin levels. She dropped the spin yesterday cause she was rushing to finish, as always. Huge problem is missing time on music for her. Her levels themselves are fine.
