I understand Verner and continued success in the LP but what happended to Parker and Kevin?? Their scores are not even close.

Korpi so close to Carolina.

I think the Mens and Ladies here had to many butterflies In the SPs and I will expect much better in the Long Programs

Fine score for Taylor Firth. I believe this is her first international event.

I am so impressed with the Finnish ladies.  They have the best field in Europe right now.
Their basics are to die for (especially Laura Lepistö's). I really enjoyed all their SPs (haven't seen Drei yet, though). Absolutely loved Jenni Vähämaa - she has the jumps and nice flexibility. I think she deserved a higher score. If she skates like that at the GPF, I definitely think she will be a contender for the podium.

Kostner got less than 100 in the free skate. Korpi, too. They must have missed some jumps, or have some of them downgraded.

Korpi twofooted and doubled most of her jumps and neither did Kostner have a good evening jumpingwise. I´m very glad for Vahamaa´s win, because I felt that she was held down in the short programme (should have won it). Based on though that Poykio had a lead of 3 points over Vahamaa, I thought that Poykio should have won the competition. Kostner was really held up by the judges in short programme.

I was very happy about Poykio´s freeskate performance and choreography, and I can see that she has worked real hard during summer and in early fall. Wishing good luck to her and our other ladies in GP competitions!!!

In men´s competition Verner had an awesome sp choreography and interpreted the music wonderfully. The same goes for his freeskate (the programme was not quite ready, yet). What a versatile skater he is!!! Pennington had a great freeskate and deserved to win that part of competition. Our Nurmenkari skated the best freeskate that I remember from him, including a triple axel. Kovalevski had to withdraw after he had a terrible looking fall in freeskate warm-up.
