I thought she would have to compete in events to qualify...? Also with Kamila and the 3As it's highly unlikely that she would be chosen, don't you think?

I'm thinking mainly about the Olympic season if it takes place. I am assuming she will be skating in competitions next fall if covid isn't blanketing the world. I also think the Russian ladies are weaker as a group since two of the top three from last year left TT for greener pastures. The door is open for Alina to have at least an outside chance to make the next Olympic team. Plus Anna is seriously ill with something now they say pneumonia. Hopefully she recovers but pneumonia can take a lot out of an athlete. I also think it's possible the three spots next season if there are an Olympics will go to the top three Russian ladies as it should but then I think you might have a couple others going to worlds 2 months later. The federation might not want to risk the health of their athletes going from the Olympics to worlds so you may have a different team at worlds 2022 then what they had at the Olympics.

Alina sometimes leaves some of the toys at Khrustal'nyi for the kids that train there, and usually gives most of them to orphanages
