Evgenia Medvedeva

The link for Zhenya's Q&A at J-Fest today. Starts at 19:00 Moscow time (less than 2 hours)

A small part from Zhenya's interview
“When we came to the competition in Tokyo, we were somehow lodged in the very center of the city. I left the hotel and went to look for all sorts of shops, look at restaurants. By the way, the most interesting places in Tokyo can be found when you get lost. That is, in the city you need to try to get lost, and then you will wander where you will never go on purpose.

When my mother and I were in Tokyo, we deliberately went to get lost. We walked for 8 hours, that is, we got so lost. They walked around the imperial palace, where it is very beautiful. We wandered into small streets, where there are small cafes with ice cream. It's hard to find on the big streets, there is no such thing. That is, you can go to the back street, and there is such a nice little cat-cafe, ”Medvedeva said live on the YouTube channel J FEST."

Zhenya said in her interview that the first thing she does, when she arrives in Japan, is to visit the FamilyMart and to buy a Melon bun. It looks delicious.
I am a sucker for Japanese and Korean baked goods, but our bakeries are too far away to visit regularly and now I really want a melon bun :dbana:

The melon bun she talked about:

If Zhenyas back wasnt acting up she could have medaled at any event she entered this crazy season. I hope she's fit for nationals
And they find a spot for her with so many skater s under the weather shall we say. I don't even know where nationals is this year but if it's in Moscow they should move it.

This was the song Zhenya was singing. It is an old folk song

Geishas sing this song during a game they play with guests. Zhenya said in her interview that she visited Geishas in order to prepare for her Memoirs of a Geisha program :)
