Is it traditional not show the tech scoring box on Japanese national broadcasts? I am kind of missing it.

The tech box is a disgusting travesty and should not be on any broadcast. Besides being distracting and taking focus away from the performances, it makes people think that’s all there is to skating, when the PCS are very important. The tech box is inaccurate a lot of the time anyway because of corrections that need to be made after performances.

The reason I like the BOX is because I have trouble recognising the jumps (except for Axels) in real time. I don't take the score in them as gospel or disregard PCS.

It's especially helpful in dance!
