little hamster being little hamster:
Alina could agree. This is, in principle, in her spirit: not to argue with anyone and not to create conflicts from scratch. But she acted like a true Olympic champion, not allowing her own team's efforts to be devalued. Once they tried to do such a dishonest trick with her herself, when in 2018 they announced to the whole country that "both girls are golden". No, there is always one gold medal. And there is always one winner. And, as you know, they don't judge him. It is a pity that Medvedeva did not put up with this.
here you go (nothing much, Alina's just thanking 1TV & RusFed for the Cup event; but it's a small bit in the evening news, longer version will either be in the night edition or next morning):Looks like we have a short interview to look forward to.

no, you understood her correctlyDid I misinterpret Zhenya saying 'too bad the Olympics aren't like that' to mean that there should be an audience vote for that too?

FFSno, you understood her correctly

news clip about the 1TV Cup (there are Eng subtitles, but there bedragonswatermelonsthere too)

That moment was pure goldCan I just say... Alina‘s eyebrows need their own Fanpage, Oscar and a brand deal.
The way she raised it and took a pause. Queen! That move spoke louder than any words against multiple interruptions, while she wasn’t allowed to finish a sentence.
It takes a good deal of restraint to know how to respond, be firm and yet polite, and she did it to a 100%.

I was amazed by the behavior of the Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova. Without offending a single person, not a single athlete, not allowing a single ambiguous word, she firmly took the last word on herself and resolutely defended her wonderful team, and herself as a captain, and as the winner of Russian and international competitions. In fact, Zagitova said what the coaches were obliged to say after the Olympics in Korea: whoever has a cup, who has a gold medal, won. Zagitova said what they had to say after the World Figure Skating Championships in Japan: no gold tides, there are three medals of different denominations.
Say it louder for the people in the back! Back in 2018, that is.Press conference with English Subtitles

I was reading sports.ru and someone mentioned in a comment that Maiia's pictures were getting a lot of love and likes in Team Tutberidze fan pages on VK and IG. I hope this ends up being a positive thing in the long run and she gets tons of fans (people love underdogs) and support. We will see.I have to say that I saw 10 minutes and can't continue. Will need to divide it into several episodes, otherwise some glass could end on the floor smashed into pieces.
BTW THANK YOU ALINA FOR STANDING UP FOR MAIIA. THATS WHAT A TRUE TEAM LEADER IS EXPECTED TO DO.![]()
