But yeah, it's just the point I was making earlier, you can't just assume that a skater will be able to make their layout more and more difficult and just continue skating it clean.

A bit of a shame that Khromykh didn't manage to win though, I think she would have deserved such a moment.
So we are assuming it will be Anna S, Sasha T and one of (Alena K and Liza T)?
Why would we assume Alena K to be in the running after this showing?

What happened to Kamilla?
Not just the jumps, her limbs were disjoint ...all over the place...

CONGRATS to Elizavetta Tukkie!
She tried 4 jumps ultra: 3A, 4S, 4T combo, 4T. From what I saw in training he did not train all, remember that 2 weeks ago his program did not have the 4S; however, he held up well after the mistakes, the show ended well. Fall in 4S, 4T and to have bad landed in 4T combined and getting 78 from TES is a very, very high score.

Imagine how much she will score when master this program, she will get 110 from TES at least, and there is still to add combinations to the 3A... if continue like this you will have more score than Hanyu...

They didn't take away enough points for the falls :(
They actually took quite a few points off.

The one thing they did wrong is that for the obviously downgraded 4S(she landed directly forward and slipped along the skate onto her butt) they gave it only an UR call.

But Valieva's first 4T's score for example got annihialated.

Frolova is not old enough. I get everyone loves making jokes about her skating being old fashioned and resembling a grandma and whatnot, but her age group is the same as Valieva's.
So than its Liza. What is this about davydovs skaters? They are all well prepared, do their tricks, tick the boxes. But all so bland with 0 charisma. He seems to aquire a taste in that 0 style

It strikes me as perfectly absurd that the arguably best female skater in the world is being barred from going to the Worlds due to age restriction. Tara Lipinski won the individual title being mere 14. Yet the danger of letting girls entering popular competitions is obvious - if children are allowed to compete at broadly televised events like the Worlds, then these events undoubtedly will loose their viewership . Would it be justified if the rules are altered for those young skaters who have achieved higher scores than their adult counterpart? Opinions, thoughts, ideas?
If the sport loses viewership it will die. The the solution is for things to stay as they are unfortunately.

That's been true for years..Liza T, Yulia, Adelina, Elena, Evgenia, Alina, Polina, Alena, Anna, and Sasha would all have gone to Worlds (and Rika and Alysa and Yuna K and Mao and soo many others) at least a year or two earlier than they did (if they made it at all) based on their senior national and international junior results if not for the age rule.

Btw Liza congratulations! But why is she finally able to land 3-3 and as a result she waters down her BV in the second half. This makes me crazy really🙈🤣 Mishinmatics at its best

Sorry, the senior winner tonight was Liza T. and the one who came second is Anna Frolova, so Liza T. goes to the World Cup and Frolova remains as reserve... Kostornaia to be programming the following season with her "ONLY" coach it's Rozanov ...
Anna F is too young - by about a month and a little bit. She's not age eligible for seniors internationally.

So Alena K is first alternate.

No actually, they used to have senior GPs available for u14 skaters right? Just recently.

I'm assuming it has something to do with people not wanting to be beat by "jumping beans", or people begrudging the fact that their 3T-2T combos are no longer enough.
