But this increases Sasha's chances to make the Olympic team and that may have been the bottom line.
I don't see EG keeping six or seven top lady senior skaters after the Olympics season but she's rolling the dice too. Eteri has almost assured herself of coaching the next Olympic champion.
It's just a shame figure skating is not more like tennis and golf wear the best Talladega to answer certain events Russia being limited to only three spots for the ladies is a travesty and it dilutes the talent in the sport.
As for plushie I thought he and Sasha had too much financial stuff in the works for her to leave so easily. I mean Sasha got like an additional 3 sponsors in the less than a year she was at PA.
She had her first practice back at TT this morning. Good luck to Sasha and good luck to everyone else if she gets the EG bounce back!

Who would play Sasha in the movie? I don't think she would have the time to play the lead role. She's going to be kind of busy for the next year

I Tonya is a really cool film and Margot Robbie is great, but she's waaay too old for the part though ! O.O I don't think it would really work, unless the movie derives from a biopic to a pure fiction and imagines Sasha's life in her 30s, and I don't think that's really the point. In my opinion it would be more interesting to cast a 15 to 20-years-old actress to play "present-day" Sasha, and younger ones for childhood scenes. That is if the movie were to come out in the next 2 to 5 years of course
I used to be more up-to-date on the matter, but right now I don't know many young actresses that could take on the part. Elle Fanning would be a good fit imo, she's an amazing young actress even though she's in her 20s right now. Maybe Millie Bobby Brown.
That's an interesting topic to discuss anyways ^^
With that hair? She should do a Merida from the animated film Brave. Although maybe let her hair down and doing it during the gala will be better.

I immediately thought about Merida when I saw her with her new hair, but I agree it would be better as an EX than as a competition program. Maybe if she were still a junior, but as a 3rd-year senior I'm not sure it's the best choice.
