Is this Max Naumov's first quad in competition? It looks like he landed a 4S in his SP at Colonial Open.

Yes, but Joonsoo Kim competed in both. That same year. I am not sure Philly International is taking place this year. I called Iceworks and asked and was verbally told it was happening. However Sylvia Unseen says it isn’t.Maybe, but he doesn't start Columbia until 2022.
And he has competed in the senior comp at Philly, as you know![]()
I'd believe the rink it's supposed to happen in over an anon poster on social media.Yes, but Joonsoo Kim competed in both. That same year. I’m so torn … we have Olympic Gymnastics Trials happening here late this month…not sure I can afford both. ..I'd believe the rink it's supposed to happen in over an anon poster on social media.
That’s for the Summer Championships, though, which is the annual club competition. The page for Philadelphia International, which is the comp we are all waiting to hear about, still shows the 2019 information. Keeping the fans in suspense, as usual!
This was on Ice Works website.

Where there is a will, there is a way. At the high school where my daughter coaches, for example, they limit guests to one per competitor—who must register in advance—and put little sticker things on the bleachers six feet apart, with directions to sit on a sticker. There are also temperature checks at the door. Spectators not affiliated with a competitor are allowed in only if the maximum number of permitted guests is not reached. If I am reading this correctly, how in the world are they going to enforce a six foot distancing rule on those benches? And won't that reduce spectators by 2/3?

There aren’t that many spectators, especially if they only have the club comp. Things are in a state of flux but rapidly improving. At their spring ice show everyone had to wear masks. Now they have dropped that requirement and only Iceworks staff must wear masks. So the 6 feet rule may be dropped by the end of July.Well, I saw Dice Murakami skate in the club comp in 2017,(although that was unusual circumstances I admit and unlikely to be replicated)

And I spoke directly to Lisa Shaw, not a random person, and she know the difference between the club competition and the International one. And they are almost certainly having Collegiates - they were awarded to them this year. I’m not clear why they would have those two comps and not the International one?I never said Sylvia was UNKNOWN to all. Definitely not anon to many of us. I just said I'd still trust a rink where a comp is happening over an internet personality. Yes, she may know stuff but again, she's not the rink who in this situation would be closest source. Common sense.

It's good to know that you talked to someone in the know at the rink. And I spoke directly to Lisa Shaw, not a random person, and she know the difference between the club competition and the International one. I just looked and they announced the cancellation last year on June 6. It is likely we do not have much longer to wait either way.

Me tooYaro must have been officially released by Ukraine. I just saw his name listed as part of the international selection pool.
Sad there's no Torgashev.Hopefully, we'll soon see him compete again. Wondering what he's up to.
