Never ever go with the cheapest.
For sure, lol.

I am impatient for assignments, because I am curious if Nathan Chen will compete in GP and if they will allow the Russians into States

Is it possible Russians wouldn't be allowed into the US?!?!??! That's the only reason I would go. I never thought of that.

The issue is not being "allowed", as far as I know, but the ability to get a visa from the US Embassy in Russia.

Anything more is political, and I won't discuss here, but if you Google, you will get a sense of the issue.

Does the RusFed have enough juice to get the visas🤷‍♀️

You could always go to the Eagles game🦅🏈

I booked a week ago but seats for the prices I paid were going fast. And I got flights I can live with....not always possible with SW. I like the free baggage cost, The truth is that I dont fly very much (I am a mechanic and know how the air handling system REALLY works) and the chances that they wont change my flights between now and then are about nil anyway......I am just happy to be going if the event happens at all. Love the Orleans.....beautiful rooms, rides in the elevators with skaters, restaurants in the casino.

If the Russians can’t get into the US then the entire thing with seeded skaters is completely messed up.

They were able to run Skate America last year with majority US skaters. I am sure that they want things go back to normal, but the things are still very uncertain. I can’t even predict if JGP in Edmonton will be a normal JGP, with like audience and international skaters. So, yeah, I am biting nails for assignments to be out for some degree of reassurance.
