Looking into the not so distant future, I think Isabeau will be looking to knock an Olympic contender off the podium at senior nationals, if she’s skating at this level throughout the season ;)
How old is Isabeau? Is she qualified to skate as a Senior at Nationals? I'll have to wait and see her Free Program but, I'm sure there are some senior ladies looking over their shoulders.

She is 14. She'll need to skate the Championship Series to qualify, but she's old enough. Alysa was younger!
Do you think they'd send her to the Olympics next year? I don't know anything about her and I don't like to "Over Hype" Juniors but, she has certainly made a statement with this program. It displays all of her exceptional qualities. Looking forward to following her as she progresses through the season.

She's too young. In order to qualify for Seniors, you have to be 15 before July 1st, so Isabeau doesn't qualify, as she won't be 15 until March.

She will not be age eligible for the Olympics

Yep Isabeau is too young but say she podiums: It will knock one of the Olympic contenders down to fourth or fifth. That could take them out of the Olympic selection right there. USFS will sometimes send a fourth place finisher but I doubt they'd send a fifth place finisher.

Depending on Isabeau's international results this season, she potentially could earn a bye to Senior Women competition at Nats -- without competing in Championship Series.
I think chances are good that she will earn a bye to Nats.

(Isabeau already has met 2022 Nats minimum TES requirement [for Seniors] for SP, and the FS requirement should be no problem for her.)

ETA (on Aug 28):
Update: After yesterday's FS at JGP Courchevel, Isabeau has met 2022 Nats minimum TES requirements for Senior Women for both SP ☑️ and FS ☑️.

ETA:

As another example of Alissa Czisny's upcoming shows, she will skate in Scott Hamilton's big annual fundraiser in Nov in Nashville.
And BTW, I noticed today that Gracie Gold has been added to the cast. (She was not on the original list for 2021, which was announced in July.)

No. She isn't Olympic age eligible. Even if she were, her jumps are still very 'juniorish', with very little speed going into them. Karen, for example,-even though she has slow rotation and tends to UR, has huge speed into her jumps. Bradie doesn't have the biggest jumps, but still, nice speed into them.

If Isabeau podiums, surely USFSA will have to consider the 4th or 5th place finisher because there's 3 spots?

Why semi home-cooked? It was an international judging panel and Alysa's scores were deserved. The judges gave her no gifts.
Because it was in the US, because the host could choose who the judges to invite, because they invited a judge has a history of cheating. If Alysa and Isabeau were to skate their SPs at the same event, Isabeau’s PCS could be on top.

Um if you take out the US judge's scores then Alysa would have gotten 31.6 instead of 31.8. All of the judges scored her within 1 point of the actual score except for one who gave her 27. Personally, I don't believe she should be getting as low as 27.

I agree. It’s just the impression of home-cooked. That’s why I said “may be,” “semi.” My point is of the top two US women’s international scores, Isabeau could be on top in a different scenario.

Think of it like this: If Isabeau comes in fourth, she knocks someone down to fifth. I think USFS would really have to stretch that "body of work" to justify picking a fifth place finisher over the top three. If Isabeau comes in higher than fourth, that still knocks someone down to fifth. Perhaps that person who would have finished fourth without Isabeau in the competition would have been selected using the "body of work" argument.

Of course in both scenarios, they could still pick the fifth place finisher, but I think it will be harder for them to justify.

One of the privileges/duties of the host is to select a judging panel. I'm not sure if the ISU gets involved in selecting judges but, when I was hosting shows, I selected judges that I knew and respected. If fans didn't agree, it never bothered me. I would never hire a judge that I didn't respect. No matter where they're from, judges need to judge fairly. If I ever suspected a judge was cheating for ANY skater, they'd never work for me again.

Unless of course, two juniors (not Olympic age eligible) get above 4th in which case they would have to send a 5th place finisher.

Of course, the US still needs to confirm the 3rd spot at Nebelhorn, which shouldn’t be too hard. Alysa should easily be able to do it. She just needs to skate well.

Right. I wonder who else besides Isabeau could move up to seniors this year? Lindsay is old enough to qualify for the Olympics.
