Because of the events of the day I've managed to completely forget about the pairs test skates. Shame on me. I've to catch up fast.

Oh, I didn’t realize they uploaded pairs. Going to see if anything is still there tonight 👍

Interesting, so Mark K. was at Junior test skates and apparently will also be at Senior test skates.

He was initially scheduled for a JGP before the Russian skaters were removed from the French events, but hasn't got a spot since, and also hasn't been on the last couple as a substitute. So I wonder if he's in the mix for the Rostelecom spot at this point.

I’m happy Elizaveta N. is there for the test skate. She sure earned it. I think she is the spare athlete and if there is an injury, she should be next for a Grand Prix spot. I can’t wait to see the Russians at this Test Skate.

watching the russian girls one after another will be surely more exciting than any gp!
to me it's such a privilege.
what kind of mental strategies were put in place in this unprecedented situation? it's certainly no ordinary skating battle this year.
i hope fans won't be too harsh on them because multiple falls and mistakes will be inevitable. they all need to be perfect at the end of December, certainly not now.
they'll probably go out very scared knowing how much they'll be judged at this early event. they actually look pale and nervous at every test skate, this one will be frightening!

Oh no, I was really looking forward to seeing Shevchenko/Eremenko and Stepanova/Bukin in particular. I assume health/injury related WDs? (I believe Daria Pavliuchenko at least has a known injury)
