New Format for Dancing With the Stars

Meh. I think it will be Jennie. Her technique is only so-so and her showmanship's utterly lacking. Marie has technique issues, but on the other hand is a performing firecracker. She and Mel I voted for (or tried to; the phone lines were wonky again.) Helio will make it though most likely. Mel will probably win. Jennie is just too boring to keep around (at least I hope that's what voters do.)

And I'm so passing along next time I see Randall's people that they have some issues designing for well-endowed women. Yes, that's not something you commonly have to dress in ballroom (Kym, Cheryl, Edyta and Julianne at least are all padded to the hilt.) But still. Support for "the girls" is our friend.

I love Marie. I thought her quickstep last night was wonderful! I don't vote though since I watch it on tape.

I'm really stunned that Marie is still there. It's not that I don't like her. I do like her and happy for her, but I don't think dancing is her forte. She and Brother got huge hype by the media because of the DWTS. Maybe there was an arrangement with ABC. I'm so cynical.....

Calling Harry Potter movie fans - according to Wikepedia, Derek appeared in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Does anyone know if he made it into the film?

I'm hoping Helio wins, but I could live with Mel B, even though I'm not a fan of hers. The thought of Marie Osmond winning makes me ill, because it will totally tarnish the show. We'll see what happens tonight.

I think Mel's partner made her look soooo good though. Although not a big fan of her, but would have liked to see her partner win.

The results were fine. Helio was my pick from day one. I thought Mel moved right along Max and Marie did better than anyone could have expected.

But would the results had been different if that surprise leave of the 'dancer' had not been jetted off? (I forget her name) Because it was she and Helio I predicted for the Finale.

Helio was a deserving winner. Decent dancing and LOTS of charisma. It brought a tumultuous season to a calm conclusion.

People.com is reporting that Helio broke up with his fiance even though he was on the View a few hours ago saying that they were still together. Now there are rumors that he is dating Juliane!! And I did think it was wierd that when they were interviewing people last night that were involved with Helio and Mel B that they never interviewed their significant others. I know that there have been rumors around that Mel was with Max too. Such drama!!

I think Helio would like to be dating Julianne. She seems not so into it, but you never know. It made no sense that Helio's fiancee never showed up at any shows. If she's traveled with him to races over the course of six years together, it was a definite omen that she was never seen at Dancing with the Stars. I think he was trying to not draw attention to the situation, so he told a fib on The View. His fiancee immediately broke the story.

As for Mel B, her husband has been at every show. And Maks was on Ballroom Dance Channel talking about how eager he is to get home to NJ. That is a doubtful match.
