Mae has had surgery on her Achilles tendon and seems to be doing okay, which is a great relief all around. I was worried that with France's hospital system under stress from COVID-19, she might have to deal with delays in treatment, but luckily not!

Maé is on her feet again and is starting to walk without the crutch!

Yay for Maé! I wish her success in walking well, and hopefully also going back to skating. Taking care (no rushing please) not to force things, but I would so love to see her back on the ice. Lots of hugs (virtually of course) to Maé!

Maé is launching a new company, the Motivation & Boost Academy:

The M&B Academy will offer consulting in management, marketing and consulting specifically catered to figure skating. It’s a work in progress, and the announcement is the first stone to a very important chapter, in which I hope I’ll be able to LEAD, EMPOWER & INSPIRE all generations of athletes and people.

She is not on the list for Nebelhorn (predictably, as in an interview, she had said recovery was supposed to take 6 months), but she keeps working hard to get back to the ice!
