Maé-Bérénice says her name here: thanks to golden411icecoverage for finding the footage, and to sabinfire for making the clip:

Excerpt from the OP

Maé is the #1 of the French Ladies, and she has placed in the European top 5 (2014), 10th at the Sochi Olympics, and 10th at Worlds 2015. She's well known for the athleticism of her skating, but she has worked a lot to improve her artistry and feminity on the ice. She's a hardworker, always hungry to progress, which we saw this year in her program with new big combos as 3Lz-3T!!

I didn't know she had a knee injury? But I'm glad to hear that she's resting, so she can come back next season and slay the competition. Hoping for the best for you, Mae! :cheer:

In fact, her injury came from mid-november, but wasn't bothering her so much, so she decided to continue the season normally. But after the WTT, it became really painful and prevented her from skating (she wasn't able to take part to the second part of the French Tour), and she decided with her medical staff to take a complete rest, which was probably the most reasonable option.

Do you think Mae will perform with male partner in show? Although she is going to be single in competition, I believe Meite could give a great potential in dancing. She is able to transform power into elegance and sensuality. These features can be underrated if she always performs alone.

Hi guys ! Here's a little interview of Maé realized by the INSEP ( National Institute for Sport and Performance, a center assisting several french athletes (Romain Ponsart, Chafik Besseghier, and more, apart from figure skating ).

Hi guys ! Here's a little interview of Maé realized by the INSEP ( National Institute for Sport and Performance, a center assisting several french athletes (Romain Ponsart, Chafik Besseghier, and more, apart from figure skating ).

She's still young and there's still a few seasons left before Pyeongchang. She has that will in her. But I hope she's aware that unless she works seriously on her artistry, she won't have any chance. I hope she has changed her way of training for the next season. Do we know her choice of music/choreographer for the coming season?

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with her artistry... I don't think she's a top skater but I find her far more entertaining than many skaters whose "artistry" consists of being a graceful blur.

Agree. I think the issue is she is very athletic, so maybe she should change her costume and choreography to match her athletic style?
I mean no need for dress.

Would SO love to see her skate to this.... She could use all that power and this piece would encourage the grace and fluidity I know is there.. She's one of my favorites.... Good Luck next season!
