Kamila Valieva

Yesterday I watched the SP live, she didn't win.
Today I chose not to watch live (although I kept refreshing the web pages to check the result), and she won!
Back in 2019, I chose not to watch 2019 Worlds live, Alina won.
The latest world: I chose not to watch live, and Anna won.

We fans do have a hard life, don't we?

This is pretty cool... the choreographic sequence is a million times better than the one she did in the test skates. Spiral is shorter but it fits the character much better.

Still don't like the outfit, but it works better in motion than in photos.

Huge congrats to Kami! I'm sooo happy for her and still in awe of her performance today! :hap10::party2:
Even if it was not perfect of course, but honestly, can anyone wish for a better international debut in the seniors field? And hearing Kami speaking in English for the first time is priceless! 🥰

Congratulations to Kamila on her international senior debut! She really owns Bolero now, and the confidence experience with the programme has given her shines through. What a wonderful young skater she is, and how lucky we are to see her perform.

Not many men would be able to pull off what she did. 3 gigantic quads, amazing spins, godly spirals, complex transitions and choreography. All that packed together with an insane technical content, that only a few men in the world can land, while not doing even a third of the non-jump things she does.
Haters are going to hate, but Kami should be proud of herself and keep her head high. She deserves every point and that score will only get bigger. She’s one of a few girls I can call a once in a generation talent. She just has it all.
