Second Dashsa's FS practise:

Oh! My! Goodness! The Ina Bauer, three turn thing*, and then the leap on the vincero, so well timed! That's a lovely piece of choreography to lead her into the final spin.

*Still am terrible with identifying footwork/figures/steps, if anybody who knows the correct term would care to pity my ignorance and enlighten me as to what it is Daria does after the Ina Bauer, I would be very grateful.

She was among the other russian skaters who went to Uzbekistan for the visa at the embassy in Tashkent about two weeks ago, so I presume she got it.
You mean Dasha had to go to another country to get her Visa? SMH.

Vood luck in skate America.

Dasha looked like she was ready to start this season. People on YouTube are writing glorious comments about her. One even said she's a cross between Anna and Aliona. It is hard to believe a 15 year old can skate that purely. But she pulls it off as a couple others have.

Good luck in the free skate.

Little :ot:
There was a whole expedition of russian skaters and coaches to Tashkent for the visa who didn't gain their visa earlier (like Eteri is travelling to america becasue of Diana and Sasha and Evgenia T./Vladimir already competed in the United States this season, so they had it, but the rest had to gain it elsewhere). It's not that unusual to be forced to travel to another country to get a visa, for instance in the past there were times when Canada didn't provide visas here in the Czech Republic for the reasons that are not important here and the Czechs who wanted to travel to Canada had to obtain their visa at the canadian embassy in Austria.
