I think Trusova aim here should be to keep herself in the running for the 3rd spot with Elizaveta. And then Rus Fed will sent them to Euros to decide who gets the spot. I dont think her aim should be to up Kamila right now and risk a meltdown and losing your spot. I dont think Eteri is gonna risk her going all out and losing the 3 olympic spot since Maia doesnt have much chance against a consistent Elizaveta

He never claimed she actually said that. It was obvious to me anyway with "go big, or go home" that he was implying that with her planned technical content, Sasha wasn't going to just play it safe at Russian Nationals.
I don't know why you're so miffed about it. I mean, he didn't say anything, nor did he imply anything derogatory about her.

I am not type to imply anything derogatory, I will just come out and say it.
And you are right in this case because I made it a point to say it was exciting.
And obviously I’m not cheering for her to fall. I want everyone to skate their best starting tomorrow and may the best lady win.
I'm sooo nervous for tomorrow. Anyone who isn't in the top three will make my heart break.
I am most nervous for Anna and Sasha. They need to be super clean in the short. I hope Sasha won't go for that darn 3A. It is probably that jump that has injured her in the first place. Please Sasha, just leave it.
And Anna's 3Lo combo has not been consistent lately, and she needs it.
Kamila is probably untouchable, and I hope the others realise that and focus on those precious 2nd and 3rd places.
