You have no idea how many selected scum gathered in the comments on sports.ru about the news that Muravyova received -1 for time violeting. Toxic words about Tutberidze this is understandable - of course she hypnotized Muravyova and she started 2 seconds later, but these scum began to pour mud on Anya. These freaks are already even shown a photo of an official statement explaining the situation - that the technical panel immediately detected a time violation and reacted, but due to an input error, this data did not get into the system. This scums don't care - in their filthy universe, the spoiled diva Anya threw a tantrum, and the almighty Tutberidze did everything (and they don't care that this delay is easy to determine from the video)

At such moments, I want to call the good old Jay and Silent Bob

Thank you and it's shocking that Liza is in 7th place place after the SP because her shorty has been so good this year.
Liza doesn‘t have a good track record at Nationals and she‘s said in an interview a few weeks ago that it‘s the hardest competition for her. She can absolutely still make the team but it will be harder tomorrow than it would have with a clean SP. She really had an opportunity to set herself apart after Sasha fell but…
I think plushy knows that and SMs parents probably know that. If that would probably mean 2 senior grand prix events which is very important. But judges love her and she's too stable to bomb her free skate so making the top 6 is is realistjc.
Well, she just bombed a FS at the Russian Cup after a brilliant 3A short. They had her try 2 3A and a 4S which was just too ambitious for a first try. Which is why I‘m worried.

As for Sasha. The starting order for the FS is the reverse of their SP finishes. So it will be Sasha, then Samodelkina, then Muravieva, Shcherbakova and Valieva. If she makes the podium, I think she should be good to go for the Olympic team. She can‘t bomb at Europeans but unless she does, I doubt they‘d replace her. Which is why Nationals is so brutal. It‘s either now or never.

I don’t care what’s fueling her lol, I care about what nonsense let’s her be10 points ahead when she deserves maybe 3.
How much do you think she's gonna win by tomorrow? 20?

Where others in your opinion over scored today?

Kamila - jumps and spins looking very sturdy. She's looking more settled into the choreo too. Score is laughable but not surprising. The program is just meh. Everything looks pretty but not much content to savour. The costume is so childish looking. Those drape over the shoulder would be something I see in a 10 yr old Disney princess costume.
Sofia M - the best of the night for me. She looks a little rushed today but still the choreo and intepretation is still much better than Kamila. I would say she is a better overall skater aside from the skills and SS but Sofia has better quality of jumps esp with how bad Kamila combo looks. I hope she gets a medal
Anna - what Kamila lacks in musicality Anna has in heaps. I feel she has the best connection to the music today right from the get go, she became one with the music. But everything else, the jumps quality and spins and SS, is just very average. Aside from her musicality, the judges are the one that are keeping her among the top.
Alexandra - I wonder whose call was it to do the 3a. Likely herself with her track record of going big despite the risk. Surprise surprise it did not pay off. I'm surprised Eteri isnt putting more authority over her. If Elizaveta didnt melt down, the 3rd spot would be in great jeopardy. Now Alexandra has wasted her chance of taking advantage of Elizaveta meltdown to take that 3rd spot.
Elizaveta - I always had a feeling that having such an consistent start to the season was a bad omen. Still she probably has a chance to prove herself in Euros
Maiia - Maiia can count herself out of the running now. There's no chance the fed is going to sent her even with a 2 clean quad program tomorrow

The unsuccessful Liza's SP seriously reduced the intensity of the intrigue. I understand, of course, that everything can still change and the ice is slippery, and yet I no longer have that nerve, that expectation of intrigue

I don’t really care, I won’t be watching. I’m over it after looking at the protocols and seeing Kamila get +5 on elements almost entirely across the board that have problems that are listed in the handbook as immediate GOE deductions.

And why then so much hype from you here? I don't watch dancing, and I don't run around in dancing threads, grabbing people by the buttons and telling them my opinion about their dancers. Why this hypocrisy, seriously?

I thought this was the year Liza would not be rattled by nationals because she's been so stable and have blown aliona out in all 3 SPs this season. Maybe not having AK there threw her off.

Thank you for the starting order being in the final group if Sasha skates early will help her because her scores will be much better than the girls from the group before her.

Is Liza skating in the 2nd to last group is a shock. It will be interesting to see if they puff up her score tomorrow. Is that hard to do when you're in a second to last group?

You won't be watching the most phenomenal phenom in the history of women's figures skating? ;)

Come on man even if you don't like her you have to admit that KV is must see TV as are many of the other ladies. especially sasha.

If you don't watch the frees i hope you follow it closely because there's a lot going on as we all know and there's a lot at stake tomorrow as we all know.

While I definitely see Anna ahead of Sofia M., it's because of thew performancxe itself and not because of mere time violation for me. That will only bring hostility and s...storm as it obviously started already according to @florin
Why does it cause a storm skaters get dinged for being a millisecond late all the time?

There’s nothing at stake, lol. The judges have their favorites, and they will pick the team from that. She’s not must see TV, she has grating music and there’s no suspense. I adore figure skating and maybe in a few years I will return to watching it with a new quad but the scoring this season has been maddening. A WR for a skate with an invalid combo? Insane +5 GOEs across the board for elements that from ISU rules display clear markdowns? I’m not interested in that sort of corruption. It was fun to follow intensely for 3 years but this short program has ended it for me.

You will enjoy the free skates more I guarantee it!

Plus then there's Europeans the Olympics and worlds it will be amazing! And nobody can predict what will happen especially in a worldwide pandemic where athletes commonly test positive for the virus.

I think if you watch the free skates tomorrow you will feel much better. Hopefully.

But at least you admit that KV should be in first place even though you saw her score was a little high.

Or, Anna hacked the timekeepers watch and started the clock early. Haha

Yeah, when I think of divas and trouble makers, Anna is the first one that comes to my mind. Haha

Anna is an athlete that has been without incident her entire career. No off ice or on ice drama. Graceful and dignified on and off the ice.
Whatever happens tomorrow, Anna has been a gift to this sport. A champion through and through, and a person that all coming after her should emulate and aspire to.

there are too many fanatical followers of Porthos and his basic life principle "I fight because I fight" in the Russian segment of the Internet.

One way or another, Tutberidze will now have to admit that the hypothesis of the possible existence of Plushenko has a weighty proof. Let's see what will happens in FS tomorrow.

Set up nicely for tomorrow.

Kamila will be skating the biggest and most important FS of her career. We will find out in 24 hours how she handles the pressure and expectations of a nation. If she does, we will be talking about how we witnessed history.

So far, so good for her as the SP was outstanding.
Kamila doesn't have to win this event (even though she probably will). She is a lock for the Olympic team. And witnessing history? Because she gets an inflated Nationals score? I don't think so. The skater who has the potential to make a bit of history here is Trusova.
